Nope, they "didn't see me" and pulled out of a side street right in front of me. They already admitted fault and I'm taking it to Dan's paint and body on Monday. Looks like I'm driving the 4runner for the next few weeks.

    Sorry, hope you are ok.

That is how I got my ARB & Ranch hand without paying for all of it.

I was there at 3am, this morning for a 5am flight, same thing with few people on the road.

    WTF?

My drive there takes me through Sun Lakes, so there’s a 95% chance I’m going to encounter someone barely coherent behind the wheel there. But I-10 and the airport were just as bad today.

I'm just not meant to have front bumpers. That's what I've learned from all this.

I still have some pieces of that rusty square tubing laying on the side of the front yard. I'm sure we could tack something together. :eek2: :welder:

Speaking of such, once I get my truck back (this year hopefully) I've got those plates in for the BMC. Give you a chance to use that welder again.

I do in fact! A battery one for normal shitty welds, and a plug in one for seriously fucked up flux-core welds.

Yes, but you need to feed the welder a lot more juice than the normal 240v plug. Might have to rig something up.

Dis some exploring today. Followed the Gila river down to Gillespie dam. Turns out I was there 2 years ago on the exact day.

    And tires, again!
I'm leaning heavily towards the 275/70 (33.2") due to the lesser weight and width.
I have to run OEM wheels right now.
Would love 35's but not wanting to take such a huge hit with weight and MPH.
The 285/75 quite a bit heavier!

    Metric size, Inches, weight, width:
    275/70R18 33.2 52 11
    285/65 R18 32.6 55 11.5
    285/75 R18 34.8 65 11.3
    LT295/70R18 34.3 63 11.8

    Will they rub, Thoughts?

Coach bilder, while look beefy as hell, are $320 vrs $200 for toytech or camburg.

I’d go with the Toytec or Camburg myself. Just do the bushings while you’re at it. The poly bushings make a big difference.

Your truck is new enough that it shouldn’t be bad. Just rent the bushing press and heavy duty cups from Autozone and you’ll be fine.

Yeah, I've heard some can be quite stubborn to remove. Make sure you've got all the tools handy before tackling just in case.

Here’s what you need to rent. You get your deposit back when you return it, so it’s “free”
    • Ball Joint Press kit (AutoZone rental, part #57023)
    • Master Ball Joint Installer/Remover Adapter Set (AutoZone rental, part #57310)

    Thanks!
SDHQ has the Camburg shackles but no mention of bushings.
    Seriously what's the advantage?
