It is Friday! Make it a good day everyone…

What’s on the agenda for the weekend? I got a 24hr pass, so headed into the hills tomorrow for some exploration. Might even stay overnight in the Yakima area. All depends on the route taken.

Taking the kids in for their flu shots Saturday. Hoping for only a small meltdown from the youngest. Need to rake some leaves at some point. Dropping the truck off to have the rear windows and windshield tinted.

I ran my kids thru the flu shot factory last weekend. Our doctor office setup a drive-thru system in their parking lot. Took 15 minutes and worked slick. Kids didn’t even have to get out of the truck.
Good luck with yours! I’ve found ice cream solves all issues like that. We often go after bad visits.

Yep, tomorrow is drive through and right before lunch so hoping the prospect of them choosing where to go for lunch will help.

This year might have been the best for colors on the trees at my house. However, the wind and rain the last few days have taken most of them down.

Well power just went out at my place. We’ll see how long this lasts. Might have to try the battery backup feature of the new fireplace shortly.

Anyone done any DIY floor prep on wood subfloor for carpet? New carpet gets installed next week and I already have one spot that needs a divot in the subfloor filled in. It is about the size of a silver dollar, looks like someone dropped a tool during construction and took out the top couple layers on the plywood.

You got a storm rolling through?

I used a floor sander on the plywood joints if they weren't flush, and I'd fill big divots in with any kind of caulking or putty that will harden. Construction adhesive gets rock hard. (That's what she said)

Yeah, storm dumped a bunch of rain the last 24 hrs plus some winds.
