Correct, the bumper caps were chrome and I had those powder coated. Also did that with the stock TRD OR wheels.

I bought the hood bulge in Cement color from @Roman at Toyota of Cool Springs. Unfortunately you cannot buy the surround separately from the grill, so I had to buy the Cement color assembly for a 2017 TRD Pro. Which reminds me, I still need to sell the TRD Pro grille insert. The color was perfect, and an easy install other than swapping the grill insert out.
Good luck with the de-chroming...it was the first thing I did with mine before moving on to other things.

@Kurdt, thanks buddy. Glad to hear that the 2017 TRD pro Grille and Buldge in Cement gray matches the color . I have seen on the forum several people that say it does not match . I like the original paint instead of after market paint . From my experience, it holds up better. When you swapped the TRD Pro grill with your grill, did you break any of the tabs ? Was it easy to do?

Swapping the grill was kind of a pain in the ass and it takes patience, but not hard. I believe I broke one, maybe two tabs. There are a few that are really stubborn.

I’ve got 285/70/18 Yokohama Geolander MT’s on mine I ended up with 6112’s set on 1.9 I left the rear stock with 5100’s only had to take front spat off and minor trimming on the mud flaps.

Anyone have stock suspension (less than level) and fit 285/70s on?

This is why I went with 275/70/18s on my 2021. Can appreciate the desire for 285 but in my case going down by 10 still fit my requirements and got them mounted on powdercoated factory rims off fleaBay with no spacers or other mods necessary. Although I'm probably going to be upgrading rims in the future for weight reduction but the rims were cheap enough figured I'd give 'em a shot although the powercoating/painting they did on end caps sucks.

That’s definitely the smart move! I’ve had 275’s before, and I think they look more impressive than some people on this site give them credit for, but I think 285 is really going to scratch my itch without making me feel like I went overboard.

I would have run them if there were some ATs I wanted in the size. Rg is the only tire other than some MTs. But I need something 3 peak rated with good wet traction. The size does look great on Tundras.

Hi guys - would love some help. Ive spent days reading through posts. I’m having Bilstein 5100installed next week, I do not want to lift the rear, I dont want anything too aggressive looking as it’s a pavement daily driver but Ive had the truck 4 years and I want to make it less stock but keeping the stock rims.

So I’m struggling with what tires to run - I’m leaning toward 285/75/15 duratracs, and I’m cool with trimming the skid plate and the mud flap and some minor wheel well plastic. Most posts Ive seen are a 3/1 lift which I’m not doing. Will this set up work (likely) work for me with the 5100’s, stock rims and no rear lift on 285/75/18’s?
