Should have taken them off before our trip...oh well. :tinfoilhat: Removing them permanently now.

Still PATIENTLY waiting on my sliders 2.5 months later.

this is exactly what happened to mine when i went wheeling. My Cali raised sliders are so much better, it was like adding a 2 inch lift to the truck. I just pitched them in the recycling, nobody gonna want these in this shape when guys sell these for 2 bills brand new. Just a note, you should put the bolts back in the holes like I did. Cant hurt.

I have never liked the secondary steps. That said I have the tube steps and am in the process of fabricating sliders directly under them. The sliders will be connected to each other and to the frame of the truck. Then the cosmetic step tubes will be bolted to the top of the sliders. The result will look nice and be tough as nails too. Bonus will be cat shield and trans skid fastened to my new channel iron cross members.

I never did like the look of those Predator steps. I had them replaced with the black tubes when I bought my truck.

Plus with sliders, you no longer have to aim your foot to the step lol, just step anywhere.

I'll probably post them as "Free to a good home, if you pick them up" just to save the hassle of throwing them out

    *Edit: MUST TAKE BOTH haha

Love my RCI sliders. They’re expensive, but so is body damage.
