Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well. So couple of months ago I decided to sell my Chrysler 2007 Sebring (money pit lol) anyways and decide to get 2007 Tundra Sr5 with trd off road package 200k on it. I got a good deal on it $7,500CAD and started modifying it a little bit (I’m still looking for parts and there’s more to come) till now i have upgraded the head lights, put new dash cam and backup cam, tailgate lights, double din display, tonneau cover, replaced water pump, interior led swap, interior ambient lighting, remote control starter (for Canadian winter) and much more.

Thinking to put Rough country bull bar or tyger auto bull bar and RCI skid plates soon and trd rear sway bar and get rid of the chrome just plasti dip it.

The problem i have encountered till now is sometimes in the morning or after the truck is sitting for a while it’s a hard start and it take like 10 to 15 seconds to turn over. It doesn’t happens regularly but I’m worried. One time my truck just died in the morning no lights nothing it was just dead dead. I have change the battery terminal as well but didn’t work. I have replaced starter as well but it’s the same issue. Did it happen to anyone else. Or anyone know what’s causing the problem.

lastly i have added one image and does anyone know what’s this part of the inner fender called as ? If it’s a splash shield or just the inner fender I can’t find it anywhere. And if you can give me a link to buy it it will he much appreciated. I’m missing both passenger and driver side.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I don't know about your other questions, but the starting issue sounds like either the battery or the battery terminals. I would remove the terminals, clean them thoroughly and inspect them for corrosion or damage. Replace them if needed.

 

I was also thinking the same before and changed and cleaned the battery terminals but it didn’t work aswell.
