Been looking around for a nice limited slip to full lock rear differential for my 05 DC Limited. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also would love to know what kind of experience you've had with it. Thanks everyone!

You mean you want either a limited slip or a locker?

No a limited slip differential with a selectable on/off full lock whether it be air or electronic.

You can’t have both, it’s one or the other.
I have a lsd but I will be getting a Elocker soon

I have the factory LSD already. I'm talking more about a diff like the Auburn Select-a-Loc which when the the full lock is turned off the diff then works as a limited slip until you turn on the full lock.

    It's good
It's one or the other. Call a differential shop. I have LSD and eventually will lose that for a locker.

We’ll apparently Auburn does make a lsd to full lock, but doubtful it will fit our rear ends, I couldn’t find where it lists compatibility

I'm trying to see if anyone has actually had a diff like that Auburn diff without having to swap out the whole rear end to aquire such a diff for our 1st gens.

Not sure what you are talking about. You don’t have to replace the housing, only the differential.

The ELocker is about $1,200, plus rebuild kit and cost to install. And if you are going that far you might as well regear and add bigger tires.

I don’t know of a combo LSD and Locker for the Tundra’s, and I don’t think I would want one, sounds like it would do two things not very well. I put an ARB air Locker in my Tacoma, and I never wished I also had an LSD.

I know Auburn makes a lsd locker combo diff for the tundras but not sure if it is for the newer generation tundras and if it would fit in my housing or if i would need a different housing to fit the diff. I live on the coast where it rains a ton and i go to the the snow enough where having an lsd is great but i also want to start taking my tundra through more sand and mud trips where having a locker would be better. Thats my reasoning for wanting a lsd/locker combo.
