How do you like the bed extender tubes?

I've been offered 25k over, but declined. This is the truck I want.

 

There’s a reason why they want your truck!

Bed Extender is OEM and really useful - acts to keep things in place when bed cover is closed and as long as you keep the tailgate locked it cannot be stolen even with bed cover open/removed.

 

I'm excited! got the IPT valve body as well, and D3 performance tuner is on route.

It’s official, we own classic trucks

 

There’s a small bit of fear within me everytime I drive this truck because I love it so much…but all it will take is one teenager Facebook messaging their friend who T-bones me and the truck is gone. They aren’t making any more…aaaah!

 

on the street to my house I have to pass an intersection that has a side street on the right. The stop sign is pushed back a bit and the Main Street it connects to is lined with bushes and trees. 4/5 I encounter while passing it cars are blowing through it and have to slam on the brakes. I have a feeling one of these days they ain’t stopping.

 

I live a mile from one of the top 10 worst intersections in the state. I drive thru it daily. My buddy totaled his 2001 Tacoma at this intersection recently. He's now a Tundra owner too! They just changed it to a 4 way stop. I get super nervous driving thru this intersection. please don't hit my truck!

 

This is what keeps me up at night lol I never thought I would like my truck as much as I do. I've had so many people almost turn into me on the fwy and a few weeks ago a guy ran a red light as I was making a left turn. Lucky I saw it coming, stomped on the brakes and missed him by inches. He was in a Ford Expedition coming down a hill at like 50 mph so a head on collision would have totaled both trucks.
I'm now looking for '85 toyota pickup to drive around most of the time. I've always wanted one and hopefully it keeps the Tundra safe

 

Do the LR tundras look lighter in these pics than in real life? I haven’t seen a LR Tundra in person yet (picking mine up tomorrow, can’t wait), only LR RAV4s. Ive loved the look of all the RAV4s I’ve seen, but they were noticeably darker compared to the tundras in the pics above.

Is it just me? Just the pics? Or are LR tundras a shade lighter than other LR variants?

 

It looks very different in different light. When it’s sunny it’s very light looking , in full shade it’s more of a green. That’s one thing I love about it, it always looks a little different

 

Finally! Picked her up yesterday! Couldn't be happier! No more elbow tag with the passenger. Really impressed at how smooth a ride it is. I looked down and was doing 100km/h but it only felt like 50. Gotta watch that.

Already done the following mods:
Tint the front to match the back. PPF entire front end, door cups and top 5" of the tailgate. Toyota hard folding tonneau cover. 5.7 badge delete. Undercoating. Comfort compete enhanced package.

Putting on a blacked out Toyota steering wheel overlay and the huskey floor liners today.

I really want the predator side steps. I was under the impression that they are made of aluminum but the parts department guy said they are steel. Have to call today to find out what warranty they come with.

 

Welcome! What'd you go with for the undercoating?

 

I just had mine done with fluid film.

 

My local guy that did my fluid film he does detailing also. He said nicely don’t take it the wrong way he is no Toyota guy. But after having my LunaRock up on the lift he said he loved how well it was put together underneath. He mentioned more than once how much he loved the color and the truck overall.

 

Yeah it changes a lot more than I thought it would just based on the few RAV4s I've seen. The color in your picture is what I have in mind when I imagine LR. More grey with green undertones than the mint-like green in a lot of the other pictures.

 

THey change color based on the lighting pretty significantly.

I have this setup too but debating on running the factory Fox kit for a while. Are you going for a higher lift/better performance or?

 

I'm not sure, the dealership did it. They only did the frame. I'm going to get Krown (fluid film) applied on the rest of the truck next week
