Brake Check

Any idea why the piston on the front passenger Fr?caliper won't retract and destroy 2 rotors?

Needs a new caliper? Or ar least a solid rebuild? A very occasional thing to occur...moreso occurring on 1st gens

 

You may be right on the rebuild. I'm trying to rule out the actuator since I don't have a scan tool any longer...wife's family apparently needed it more.

I replaced the caliper first because I couldn't get it to retract with a clamp or a hang grenade. Now it seems the the hub is....past needing replacement. What's worse is I have an extended warranty but if course there's always a catch.

I'm gonna check the hub out and then rebuild the truck starting on the front left.
