Well, if you want to get techie on me: The color blue indicates a temperature even hotter than white. SO, move over, my blue is passing you…. Be—-Beep!

 

Hot has nothing to do with speed- but nice try techie! You might get a positive reaction posting this BS on the color blue page, but it won't work here + EVERYONE knows "Super White" is the fastest color..Period!!

Thanks! I like the look - it's been a personal favorite on multiple Toyotas in our family.

Yes - STOCK suspension on 2021 Trail Edition (same as SR5). There was slight rubbing (very slight) on the rear portion of front mud flaps. I removed the front mud flap set and everything is smooth... even at full turn.

 

Happy to hear that! I'm highly considering Ray 10's and 275/70s on my white 2021 CM. Just cant decide if I want to go with gunmetal or black.

 

I was torn too, but I think that the gunmetal allows the wheel to 'pop' more especially from a distance... instead of being plain black mass.

Alright you guys, I have a question for all if you…

I am considering making the switch from Black to White. Don’t tell the black Tundra owners, but do you guys have any complaints/issues with the white paint?

 

Other than going through tires faster and less drag on the super fast paint, none here!

 

White paint is like adding a supercharger to your fuel pump, the gas seems to vanish quickly! Good thing the truck can keep up with it. Can't say the same about the slow black, red and mgm trucks.

Much easier to keep clean and hides swirl marks quite well….

 

A close friend had a lot of issues with rust deposits on his. I’m a bit OCD so I think I can stay on top of it. Can’t be worse than black.

 

Does your friend use a good form of paint protection? Grinding or cutting on steel close to truck at home, work, or neighbor's house? There might be an aswer for your buddy too if he can figure out the source. Get yourself a fast as greased lightning white truck and keep it waxed up. Really Easy, hand wash, dry, apply liberal carnuba paste, let haze, sprinkle heavily with cornstarch, wipe off the starch and excess wax with a terry cloth, no buffing required, no swirl marks, rinse off the dust in the cracks and crevices and dry, no big deal, just a nice smooth shine! Happy shopping for your superior white truck, and welcome to the bunch of wiser folks!

 

He relies on the dealership to wash/wax his vehicles and isn’t to up on detailing, paint protection/correction. The dealership said they couldn’t remove the spots but it sounds like the detail Dept was being lazy and he didn’t try anything on his own.

It’s a moot point now on his side, he traded it for a lunar rock TRD Pro.

Thanks for the input and advice. The other day I was pretty set on getting a 21’. Then I started second guessing. I’m looking into the possibility of keeping my 14’ and putting Katzkin leather seat covers, exhaust, and coil overs up front. It’s a tough call!

If I go with a 21’ I do believe I will go with white though!
