Finally got a 21 Tundra after missing my 13 ever since I sold it a few years ago.

Did a search but couldn’t find anything about covering the tailgate embossment. Thought some of you hardcore debadgers may have come up with a cool way to offset the final advertising billboard. Any reasonable suggestions appreciated.

    Welcome from NY.
    Nobody makes a filler.
Have a bodyshop fill it in and repaint it.

    Welcome to the forum.............

    What's the problem?
    You bought a Tundra.
I can understand removing any dealership stickers or decals.
But why the TUNDRA on the tailgate?

Are going to remove the grille, wheel center caps, and the steering wheel emblem too?

You could tape cardboard over it.

I think this is taking the debadging effort to an almost unhealthy extreme.

BUT. You might try to check with a paintless dent guy. He’d obviously be using his super powers to do evil, but worth asking anyway.

If that doesn’t work, it is the tailgate, and so it can be painted separately from the truck which will minimize shop hours and materials.
You could sand the embossed area completely, thoroughly prep the metal, and use body filler OR cut the piece out and weld in new metal if you have that skill. After you’ve made your modifications, have a body/paint shop repaint just your tailgate.

Join the dirty seven club, then add a swing out rear bumper and you can conceal it with the giant spare.
