Hate to talk about this gents, I bought a victory 4x4 front bumper cuz I thought they looked the best, had the lowest profile, and a winch plate.

Problem I’ve had is every time I’ve had to use the winch or been pulled out of something, it has bent the bumper out by about an inch. I drive an rcsb with not that much in extra weight. So it’s very disappointing to me that it would bend so easily. Every time it’s happened I’ve just bent it back in place by nudging a tree with the recovery point. It goes back in place but it’s very disheartening and makes me not want to hook to it for fear of mangling it. Victory 4x4 has been no stranger to controversy on this site but I gave them the benefit of the doubt cuz the bumper looked so good. I’ll probably be looking for another bumper at some point.

I think the main failure of the bumper is that the recovery points are so high. Causes the bumper to bend downward and out under any weight. Food for thought.

Wow first ive heard if this. Victory's reputation certainly has been tarnished since the roof rack problem. Have to ask, did you reach out to them? Id take a video and send it to them. Bumpers aren't cheap and it doesnt sound like you got the quality any one would expect especially at their price point. Report back with any updates.

I didn’t take a picture at the time and I’m hesitant to bend it back out again. Especially intentionally.

The problem is that you didn’t mount the bumper to your airbags. Everyone knows that’s where you get the structural integrity.

Which bumper? They have a couple styles. Asking because I have the Blitz bumper.

I have the same issue with the Victory bumper on my 4Runner. Very disappointed. I’m afraid bending it back every time will creat a weak spot and eventually break. I recently emailed them but haven’t heard back.

Their customer service is terrible. Mine bent out as well, but didn’t go back. There’s no gussets at the mounting points. I ended up fixing it myself and welded some gussets in there. Hopefully the next time it doesn’t bend outward.

Victory was banned on the forum for a reason. I'm sorry you guys are having issues. It sucks.
