I am getting ready to purchase a 2019 Tundra SR5 Upgrade pkg. and will be pulling a 3000lb enclosed toy hauler that I am converting to just a camper. The tongue weight is approx. 300 lbs and I dont have more than 4000lbs total with gear and equipment. Will the rear end sag on a 2019 Tundra? Are the TRD offroad models any different for springs or tow capacity? Will I need helper springs, sumo springs or timbrens to stop sagging? I am not worried about a little sag but I just don't want it to be like a Dodge Ram 1500 pulling a 38 ft travel trailer.

Oh, my toy hauler is a 17ft Charmac, again it is just for camping and no toys in it.

It will definitely sag a little with 300 pound tongue weight (3k to 4K trailer) but it shouldn’t be enough to require a suspension aid IMHO. However a suspension aid wouldn’t hurt and typically allows the stock suspension to last a little longer.

It seems trailers are designed to err on the high side of tongue weights. 300 pounds will only drop you a small amout. Just WAG but 1/2" might be close. If your 4,000# trailer is like most expect closer to a 500# tongue weight. I'm betting I'm between 550 and 600# with a 5400# loaded trailer and use a WDH. Wouldn't leave home without it.

Have two normal sized friends sit on the tailgate. There is your answer.

Being in Iowa, that may be too much.

My travel trailer has about 450-500lb hitch weight and with the bed almost empty it still has some rake.

I later added blue SumoSprings to help support the load when I’m at max and they work as advertised though if you go that route I’d recommend ordering a set of 7.75” long U Bolts and replacing the stocks.

For reference, this is with about 750 lbs of tongue weight. The WDH was installed in this pic, but not adjusted yet. I'd say I have a good 3-4" of sag with it, so for 300 lbs, you'd probably be looking at around an inch, maybe a tad more.

Open your tailgate measure from ground, then you and ur wife sit on the tailgate and measure again, that’s how much sag you’ll have

Once your WDH is set up properly, you should have no more than a 1 inch drop.

Yeah, it's much better with the WDH set up. This photo was right after I got the truck and was just getting ready to dial it in.

Yeah they really are nice. I had a 3 to 4 inch drop before I put mine on.

21 foot travel trailer that's about 4K. The next time I hook up to it I'll take pics and measurements of before and after the WDH is hooked up.
