for starters though, I'm not a Toyota fanboy. I always say, if someone is handing out new trucks, "I'll take one" ! ...and worry about what brand it is later ;)

All of this said, I sure would like this exact Toyota Tundra ! I think the only thing I'd change is to 35" tires. And I'm a stereo guy, so it would have to have something added there. I'm positive that I would not be impressed with the "upgraded" stereo setup.

Not only am I okay with the V6 Twin Turbo, I'd prefer it ! I have a V8 in my F150, and its not that special.

I fell in love with this truck from this video..... (this exact truck, color, sunroof, etc)
    https://youtu.be/fPT75l2HCXY
......But they messed me up when they predicted the price at $50K.... Come on dudes... Why did they want to get me all hyped like that ? Sounded wrong to begin with though. Then, after surfing around for a bit on this forum, I saw someone say, "But for $70K......"....and nobody argued. So I take it, that's the actual price someone might buy it for ? I mean I'd travel 3500 miles if I had to, to save $10K.... But still. I know the average price of new trucks, and $70K actually sounds on the low side :(

Also, I live in Sacramento CA. I went to the Toyota website and this exact truck is not available here yet. Is it available yet anywhere in the country ? In the video, they did say it was a prototype. Sure hope they don't change anything.

I had dreamed about walking into the Toyota dealership, writing them a check for $50K and driving out with it...
But in reality, if the truck were actually $70K + ridiculous CA tax and registration + the "required" options I'd have to have before I drove it across town (bedcover, 35" tires, and dark tinted glass) I think I'd be looking at $83K.... which is a bit more than I can swing :( And I don't do payments. If I can't afford it outright, I don't buy it. So, once I get a number, I'm going to see if I can come up with any options.

Has Toyota announced pricing yet on these trucks?

Welcome from AZ -- I'm sure you'll have to wait till the dust settles to get any REAL meaningful data on final pricing for the different trim level, but it ain't going to be cheap, but hey I'm stuck in the 80's

MSRP on the ‘21 TRD Pro is $55k. Ignoring the stupid market conditions right now, no OEM has ever dropped the price on a complete redesign. My guess the new Pro as pictured in the vid link above will be $60-62k.

Maybe I misread the OP’s first post. Sounded like he was expecting the Pro to be $50k-ish due to those two dweebs in the video.

I definitely wasn't expecting it to be $50K.... Just wishful thinking. Figured they were way off as soon as they said it.

Yea, and like I say + rediculous CA tax and registration, + the few things I couldn't go 1 day without... Bed cover, 35" tires, dark tinting all the way around.
    I'm sure I'd be well over $70K
I wouldn't include the stereo upgrade in the initial purchase, because that might take months, and much planning.

    Eyy....another local guy! Welcome!

I'm going to wait a year or two to let the kinks get ironed out, but when im ready i'll purchase it though costco's auto program. I dont believe they allow markups past msrp (could be wrong), but it comes down to the dealer. For the Sacramento area, they send you up to Auburn Toyota. I had a good experience purchasing my 17 from them. Everything done via email, drove up, signed, drive away. It took them a few a month or two to get the exact truck i wanted, but they were able to get it.
