So you're up to 4 Toyotas now? I'm only up to 2. But I've now owned 4. Just not at once lol. I miss my Tacos. But the T100 will be awesome when I'm done

Sequioa is mom's legally, and unofficially as well. I still do some of the maintenance on it though... three are mine.

Nice @Tundra2! It's becoming clear that the Gen1 build threads are more valuable for me than the rest of the site, lol.

Pops hit a deer in his nissan, so he started driving my truck. Link to his truck pics.

So, all was hunky dory until November 1st...

I investigated the severity of the damage this morning (11/7/21.)

Head light brackets are intact. Few broken zip ties. Replaced. Noticed ATF leak at my 3/8 to 1/2 splice. Will need mending soon. Looks like a new fender, and bumper will take care of the cosmetics.

Also installed my Traveler ditch lights with ahm-bah side shooters. Tied them into the turn signals using a harness provided by @daveeasa. I never planned on running the ahm-bah on a switch, but I'd never heard of tying them to the turns.

    ATF cooler lines repair.
Pulling back into the driveway I started smelling burnt ATF in the cab. Ran to town in the virus to get new hoses before the stores closed. New 3/8s lines from the transmission pipes directly to the cooler.

New lines are side by side with light blue hand drawn lines.

Did a quick inventory of my ATF. 2.7 quarts... too late to go get a new jug. Caught as much of the old fluid as I could. Brought my total up to 3 quarts. Not sure how much was still in the transmission, but added everything.

Will get new fluid in the AM, and then do a drain and fill for proper level.

Seeing this brought up made me think of some questions. Maybe I've missed it in some post (I can't keep up with all the stuff on this forum like I wish I could lol) what is the point of the O2 foulers/spacers etc.? I know at some point it was said that some of them have mini catalytic converters in them or something. Planning to do O2 sensors soon and wondering if this is anything I should look into.
Also what size and thread pitch tap do you use for the sensors?

The spacers on both trucks as they are right now effectively "dilute" how many particles from the exhaust get to the sensors so it tricks your sensors into thinking the readings are good when in actuality the emissions are not in spec. Basically, You're tricking your sensors into saying that the catalytic converter is good.

This is a really shitty, douchebag video, but this is the gist of it.
How to Use the O2 Oxygen Sensor Extender Spacer to Turn off the CEL - YouTube

Oh, and about the thread pitch? M18x1.5. See below.
My thread chaser is just whatever RA had or O'reilys

Now that you've had a couple of years on the Sankei 555 OTRs and ITRs, how are they holding up? Any info to share would be keen to hear.
