Is it possible to fit 325x60r20 tires on my 2017 tundra?

I bought these rims on offer up for $1000. Seems like a great deal. Almost like new expensive tires and fits my tundra but now I'm doing my research and realizing these tires are super wide.

325x60r20 equivalent to almost 36s and 13 inch wide .

What would I need for it to fit my truck?

I was thinking 6 Inch rough country lift with vertex coilovers would work but then I read somewhere that tire wider then 12.5 will cause rubbing . If so , would body mount chop solve that ?

Or should I just sell the tires and buy some new 35x12.5 tires and mount them.

What’s most impressive here is that a 13” wide tire can still get a severe snow (3peak snowflake) rating. Go ahead, @Falken QA

 

As for OP @Rhddc2 , if you got those wheels *and* tires for $1k, I’d probably check with your local sheriff to make sure they’re not hot before cutting and chopping up your truck.

 

What offset is the wheels? This is almost more important than the width.

 

6" lift and some chopping should do the trick!

 

I'm going to provide two points of advice.

1)from a warranty/value standpoint, I would sell the offerup tires and buy the size you can fit comfortably on the truck. The new tires will contain 3 warranties (mileage, road hazard for 1st 3/32nds, and manufacturer of 6 years) along with our 30 day/1000 mile trial period, all of which can be exercised through your tire seller (Amazon & walmart are not authorize sellers so I don't recommend). That way, if you need any service and/or warranty during the life of the tire, you have something to fall back on.

2)current scenario would be to do all the lifting/notching needed to clear the tires. The draw back here is that the tires you purchase from offerup don't contain any warranties as you are not the original purchaser. This means no mileage, road hazard, or manufacturer warranty. From a value perspective, there is not much to gain, not to mention all the what if's from the posters above (stolen, aggressive wheel offset, etc).

Just my two cents. Speaking off record and as a consumer, I would go with #1. More value for your $.

 

What are the specs of the wheels? On my 07 tundra I ran 325 65 18s on +20 offset, 3" lift. I had to do the bmc and removed the plastics behind the front bumper

 

Went with 6 inch pro comp w/ coilovers. Small Body chop. No rubbing. I'm satisfied. Thank you everyone for your help. I got all my baka lights from sdhq! Just ordered a prinsu and 50 inch baja s8 from them
