I will be running them in 265/75/16 on my Tacoma.

Will update with final impressions after winter is over, but as it stands after the testing I did today, the braking and acceleration is decent, but the lateral grip is outstanding.

Really put them through the wringer in the U.P. and they did wonderful

All right, here is my review after running them for one winter. I give them a solid B. The braking was decent, the acceleration was decent, and the lateral grip was pretty good. They were pretty much the cheapest winter tire I could find that was from a name brand. If you are on a budget then they are a no-brainer. That being said if you can stretch your budget a little more then I'm sure there are better options. I do not regret buying them and will run them until they are too worn or until performance degrades. I will not be purchasing them again though unless I get an amazing deal because I would like a little more performance next time. They definitely still performed better than even the best all season or all terrain as dedicated winter tires do.

Keep us posted and thanks for taking one for the team. I haven't been particularly happy with my brand new Yokohama IceGuard IG51v, but they do far better in snow than the stock bridgestones.

The worst snow tire is still going to be better than any no-season!

That was my thoughts as well. I figured even if they're a lackluster winter tire, they still have to be better than an all season.

I have never tried to use Hankook winter tires. A lot of people I know runs Bridgestone Blizzak on their ride.

I have run a lot of different winter tires. So far, the I Pikes have been the worst performing of any winter tire I have run. With that said, your I Pike X SUV looks much different than the original I Pike.. hopefully, they perform better!! Currently shopping for new snow tires, looking at the Firestone winter force II just because of price on eBay right now… Blizzaks are by far the best snow tire I have ever run!!!

Those should be good. The pattern mimics some goodyear eagle winter tires. Have used those on a Tahoe and were fantastic. Hope thentread compound is somewhat durable. That pattern should be quite good

I agree, that’s pretty good looking winter rubber. I expect they should perform well with the metric s41tload of multi-angled siping in the tread blocks, and big enough grooves to handle deeper snow and clear slush.

I had the older version of Hankooks on my old 2010 Tacoma. It was amazing. I run Blizzaks in the winter on my Tundra, because i got a deal. Does great! I want Nokian Hakkas next time.

I considered those, but man are they expensive, especially with the price of everything going up.

Well, they are mounted up. I had an issue though, one of the four tires required a gargantuan amount of weight to balance and obviously has something wrong with it. I contacted the place I bought them from and confirmed what I already knew, that I would have to jump through a ton of hoops to get a replacement including shipping back the damn tire with no mention of sending one out first so I guess I would just have my vehicle sit in until the replacement came??? Anyway I decided I'm going to use it as the spare and buy one more winter tire and hope it's good. As a spare it'll be fine considering it only starts to shake really bad at illegal speeds otherwise it's manageable. One size up tire definitely looks nicer in the wheel well (though I wish winter tires had cool rugged side walls like all terrains do :D) and having my speedometer on is great as well.
