I need to upgrade my offroad/high beams. I can't afford more than $550 because I'm abour to retire, but I think a bumper mount light bar might give me what I need. I'm happy with my normal driving lights, but I have to do something about long range lighting.

I don't want to cobble something together that I'll regret later, so I'm looking at the Caliraised 32" kit and the HR Revolution kit by Diode Dynamics either the 32 or the 42. I like the lighted backlight switch that the Caliraised kit includes, but really haven't seen either in person, sooooo.....

    HELP! Which should I get?

To be honest I’d think about ditch lights too. Easy install and they may be cheaper and they put out a ton of light typically

I put diode dynamic fog lights in my tundra, wow. I put a set in my wife’s camry also. DD would be the only leds I buy again. There’s a Labor Day sale on right now too.

Yea, I have the 42” combo on the way…the sale just pushed me over the edge. I did get the switch from Caliraised though.

thanks all… still reading, but looks like I should be happy with it.

Anybody have pics or video of the light output from the 30" Diode Dynamics bar?

All I can say is that after I got my 42” DD installed, I took the truck out and lit her up on a back road at night…. You couldn’t even tell my headlights were on. Even my wife started laughing and said. Oooooh my God….

    Yea, they’re bright….

+1 vote for Diode Dynamics, and +1 for @memario1214 when it comes to getting you the right one :) And yeah, the switches can be swapped easy enough. I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I am a Tacoma owner (I just like to hang out here and pretend I own a grown up truck :D), but what color are the instrument lights in the Tundra? Are they the same light ice blueish as the Tacomas? The reason I ask is that AirOnBoard makes great switches that match the light blue pretty well.
