I chatted with the good folks of iDrive USA about a group buy, and they opted to throw out a code for the forum users instead.

Use code YOTALIFE for 10% off at https://idrive-usa.com/

    This code does not expire.

    07-21 Tundras:
    https://idrive-usa.com/collections/...le-controller-to-suit-toyota-tundra-2007-2018

    From their site:

    • Easy Installation (Plug & Play, most models can be installed in under 3 minutes without modification)
    • Four driving modes
    • 20 adjustable settings
    • Intuitive LED interface
    • Available in a range of colours
    • OEM Factory Plugs that plug directly into your existing pedal unit
    • Individual Programming for any driving conditions
    • Incredibly user-friendly and easily navigatable
    • Backed by a lifetime warranty
    • Every unit comes with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, if for whatever reason you don't think the iDRIVE is for you, simply return it for a full refund.

Yeah, something to keep in mind. If you buy a faceplate at checkout you don’t get the standard white one too.

Not a bad deal at all.
That control module looks more compact than the other brands available.
Can you change settings on the fly?

    Yessir!
I was messing with it earlier and had it on Eco 9 and it was like I was towing a lead sled. I popped it into Ultimate 6 and chirped the tires

    Ha!
I’m keeping an eye on options.
Not sure if my dap tune is going to work when I go to 37s.
Just something to keep the pep since I’m going to 5.29s.

It’s perfect because the steering wheel blocks it. Those LEDs will likely be bright at night

I’ve heard mixed opinions and even Dustin has said to see what happens first.
I’m going from stock gears and tuned with 33s to 5.29s and 37s.
Some folks have complained about stall issues when making a similar change.
The truck thinks it tacked out at around 5200 rpms and bumps off the limiter.

How's your average mpg doing now that you have some more time with it and have gotten a bit of driving under your belt? Mainly curious if its essentially the same as before the idrive and if not what the deviation is.

I would like one of these but I think I want the opposite of what everyone else does.

I want it to be less sensitive off the line. Truck has plenty of power.

I just sold my skid plates off my Expedition for $200. How fitting. I may have to order.

The iDrive has the ECO setting with sub levels of sensitivity that will tame your Tunny down a lot. You will like the results!

MPGs are relatively unchanged. I just did about 1,000 miles this week and only 1 less MPG than usual, but I did have about 800lbs in the bed.

The eco mode is really nice if you don’t want to be hot dogging all over town.

The website has changed from idrive-usa.com to ultimate9usa.com

Promo code still works and its the same product. You can go to the linked web address, it will just reroute you.

    Enjoy your day

Why did I not believe everyone that said how different it would be with a throttle controller... does not feel like the same truck. Have it set at U2 and you feel the power as soon as you press the pedal. I mean, we are still a truck and not a street racer but man was I smiling!

Also, this was a lot smaller than I realized. I want to say its about 1.5"x.75" :notsure: but here's a pic with my key for comparison.

Thanks again @Squatting Pigeon for getting us the code and recommending this.

Edit: I ordered the black faceplate and mine came seperate. It just has adhesive backing and sticks straight over the white faceplate. I definitely got fingerprints on the screen portion but I can't see it without looking closely.

Is everyone still happy with their purchase? Any pros or cons? I want to buy a throttle controller for overlanding/ easy-mild off-road and since I have a 2WD I really want something that’ll allow me to control it at all times

So far I’ve seen threads on Pedal Commander and Sprint Booster I just happened to come across this one. I’d appreciate some feedback to narrow down my options. Plus the price on this looks very nice too lol. Thank you all in advance

Edit: also what caught my eye is a post that mentioned an LED light being bright at night. Does that mean that it stays on all night or better yet all the time? If so has anyone had battery problems?

@raymond_hb still love it and would definitely recommend it. I have been leaving mine in U3 and really like the response. I was running the Auto mode but my driveway is inclined and I kept squeeking the tires when reversing. Only issue I have had and minor at that.
The led's on it are only one when you have the vehicle on. As such I've had no issues with the battery. I get off work at midnight so I'm driving home when its dark out, in the location I have it I have no issues with it being bright. My steering wheel blocks it from regular view but I can move just a little to then see the display if I needed.

Hope that helps. Let us know if you have other questions.

Thank you Robert that covers pretty much everything. My concern was that it would stay on at all times draining the battery but it doesn’t so no issue there. I just recently bought the DD 8” system and did the throttle body bypass and it seems like it’s still trying to get a sense of how things are working. Does feel a little limp so maybe this could help regulate things. Thank you very much appreciated
