Looking to get rid of the nerf bars and put some sliders on. Leaning towards CaliRaised cause they are only a couple hours from me but like the WKOR sliders as well. Anyone have the CaliRaised and how do you like them?

Just put the step editions on. Love them. Were a pretty big pain to put on and they took over 12 weeks to ship. Otherwise, so far so good

By the way what you do you have for wheel/tire/suspension setup, looks badass

    Too many, but not enough....
I got the Cali Raised trail edition ones and i absolutely love them. Install wasnt too bad and they look great with the rhino lining. They stick out the perfect amount for the family. I think the step edition ones would stick out too much and actually get in the way while wheeling and hitting your shins standing by the truck. Just make sure you have all your hardware.

Edit: I got the kickout and its awesome, doubles as a step to get in the front of the bed by the cab and makes it easier to get my kids in the car seats.

So far no problem with how far mine stick out. Here is a side shot, 364B8A99-2948-4D14-BC63-954E622AE016.jpg

Is this the trail or step edition ones? I didnt get the filler plates. Not a fan of the look and it was cheaper without, plus the rhino lining is like super glue as far as foot grip.

I get it. To each their own, this is the step edition, I love the surface to stand on.

I think both of these work with valhalla shield skids too in case you had any plans to get those, which i highly recommend as dual purpose armor.

Shameless plug here, but I just got set up as a dealer for CaliRaisedLED (the one in TX). You'll never see me promote MOST of their products, but I do think that they produce some solid armor items since they produce them in house. If someone were to land on Cali stuff I can probably save you some money (or at the very least sales tax) on their stuff.

Full disclosure I haven't had my hands on any of their sliders yet, but I have heard good things which is why I chose to accept their offer of having me resell their products.

Back to your regularly scheduled discussion on which is better! I'm secretly curious to see where this goes as well.

What he said, WKOR all day. If I am not mistaken cali raised sliders are apex sliders that they bought out. WKOR they have been doing sliders forever that's what they specialize in, local shop in socal and great people.

Looks like the step version would protect from rogue shopping carts also?

I have the westcott front, coachbuilder +3 rear. Have JBA UCA but haven’t put them on yet. 35x12.5 ridge grappler on 17” icon vector 5’s.

That’s what I’ve been looking at before I found out that CaliRaised is in Texas 2 hours from me. Still love the look of the WKOR and that they offer full coverage. If I go Cali Raised figured I could make a trip out of it and avoid the shipping. Maybe even just have them put them on while I’m there.

Awesome, I’ve got the same front and rear going on tomorrow with method 701 and 35x12.5 ko2s. Your truck makes me pumped to pick up Thursday!
Yeah that is one thing I really like about the step edition, shopping carts, or people’s doors next to me in parking spots. They stick out enough to give you a little protection

Yeah I have one of their light bars in my bumper. It works fine but doesn’t hold a candle to my Baja Designs though. Never shook the light bar lol. Their sliders do look quality and great materials from what their page says.

I love mine. I was incredibly surprised by how much better the shackles make it ride. Never would have thought it would be something you can actually feel. Just make sure to use the bushings that came with the shackles. The originals were a PITA to remove. The bearing press I used didn’t have a receiving tube long enough to press the bushings out all at once so had to cut them in half and press the remainder out. Center sleeve is a hardened steel tried cutting it with multiple sawzall blades but ended up having to run to the store and buy a diamond blade. Very much worth the effort though.

Also I plan on putting one coachbuilder shim on the driver side just to correct the lean.

I’m not doing it myself, I’m not that skilled nor do I have the right tools. Got a buddy I do work for put it all together tomorrow with the wheels and tires. Then he’ll do an alignment while he’s in there. Did you have to do a body mount chop?
