Had these installed earlier this summer, noticed the bags are making contact with the plates at 30 PSI- I was gonna drop down the 10psi for the winter…

Are your bags bolted down top and bottom?

And I run 5 psi unloaded in the winter.

Yes bolted down… I have a decked box and a cap so I guess I’m considered still somewhat loaded… I noticed even at 10psi though the truck is being lifted by the bags…. I was doing some back road driving with two canoes on yesterday at 30 psi, I was dry fitting a winter rim and noticed they had been making contact and thought was odd…

I completely disconnect mine if I have no weight (or at least run 5psi if you don't want to run them empty). Any pressure makes the ride total ass on mine, let alone at 30psi! That's like towing a heavy trailer level for me.

Same here - 30 psi is super rare. I know some folks that have 45+ in there but to me it's just a pogo stick.

Since I have Daystar cradles I was actually thinking about creating a vacuum and sucking the airbags up high over the winter. But as a started researching it I learned that Firestone doesn't recommend anything less than 5 psi in extreme cold (-20C or colder) to prevent cracking.

Looks to me like you need to loosen the bottom bolt and adjust the bag. Your bags should be more upright, not at an angle like that. That bottom bracket is slotted which allows for some adjustment. I have the same kit on my truck.
