    No kidding. It's especially cumbersome since I always have at least two handguns and my AR with me when I'm in my personal pickup.

    That's how it is here in CO, or at least very commonly in the areas east and west of the front range and outside the ski towns. It's pretty much a given that most everyone has at least a 22 and a handgun with them, so no one makes a big deal out of it.

    I'm seriously looking into getting a tether safe to keep my gun in while not in the truck. Would get the console safe....but got the bench seats...:annoyed:

    Same where I'm from. Just about everybody I know has a gun or three in their truck at all times. We all know it and no one cares. Did get pulled over in Louisiana and showed the cop my license and notified him I had two loaded guns in my truck as per extension of castle doctrine. He looked at me and said "oh that's cute, got two handguns, an AR, and tactical shotgun, and that's in MY truck. My cruiser has double that." I had to laugh. Talked a little about guns and got off with a warning. Cool cop.
