Got my truck back today, finally, they replaced both rear axle shafts, bearings, calipers, rotors, pads, everything in the rear just about except for the rear diferential, 4500 worth of work. I hope this is the end of the ordeal and i hope this thread helps anyone that is having this issue.

My 2019 Pro had to have the axles replaced for the same reason, at less than 3,000 miles on the truck. Got it all sorted out after 2 or 3 trips to the dealer.

That is great news... did you feelthe truck any different, im feeling some vibration inside the truck after i picked it up but could be me being paranoid or just never noticed since i was so darn focused on the noise. Not to mention i got new aftermarket wheels installed three days before it went in for a week for the final fix.

For me it road flawlessly after the fix. I’ve put about 8k miles on it since then without issue! I’m on the stock pro wheels and tires for now for what that’s worth.

Best of luck with yours! Here’s to hoping you just need a tire balanced to solve your vibration.

bought a 2021 Platinum with 3 miles at 34 miles (you read that right only 34 miles) driver's side rear axle shaft is bent! Is this a common issue?

I have a 16 SR5 CM 4x4 with 61k on it, and just started noticing a noise from the rear end, if it’s a bent axel/s and Toyota doesn’t cover it I’ll never buy a Toyota ever again.
