Dang... I knew it wasn't on his website but you could message him about it. Well if you can't get the emblem vinyl I change my vote and say go Pro.

Yeah I am probably going to go with the TRD Pro grille from Sparks Toyota.

Make it at least two persons. To me, the Heritage style grills on the Pro isn't even close to the color matched honeycomb grill, of course it's only color matched on the black. and MGM. But the absolute best grill is the black billet with the silver surround on the XSP-X. Beauty of having different tastes. You can have a different opinion about the XSP-X grill than me...

Were you able to re-use your super white surround from your old grill?

Yes I was able to. It's pretty easy to remove the grille from the surround but if you want all the clips/tabs to be still intact on the old grille do it slowly. I broke a couple on mine because I was impatient but I know I'm never going back to the old grille.

I've had both and love them both... as long as there is color matched surround

Nothing beats the original Tundra TRD Pro grille IMO. Revised Pro > Honeycomb. Honeycomb looks great, its just too plain Jane for me.

One of the first things I did on my SR5 is swap to the TRD Pro grill from MC Auto.
I was leary of swapping out the insert only for fear of breaking tabs!

However, now that I have "TOYOTA" across the front ... I miss having this look ^^

I agree but it would be too confusing to put a 2017 Grille on a 2020 so I went with the 2019+ Pro grille.

Yeah i can understand that. My truck is on its way to being confusing. Its a 2014 SR5 with a 14-18 Pro grill, 18+ headlights, TRD OR wheels that I painted black, and now i'm between putting the 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Off Road badges on the doors or putting 2nd Gen Rock Warrior decals on it :D

Wow, that looks GREAT as is!

I ended up with the TRD Pro version but did look closely at the honeycomb version.

Went from Limited with chrome surround:

I love the Honeycomb grille, just looks better to me. I hate the sensor on the TRD Pro Grille.

I’m about to trade my SR5 for a TRD Pro, and I was thinking of getting the honeycomb grill with new TSS Sensor for it so that it can work with my Steelcraft Grille Guard. Can I simply swap the grilles out? Do the TRD Pro Grille sensor and the Platinum Grille sensor use the same connection? Thanks!

I'm also on the fence about switching my grill out. I like the Platinum grill more than I thought I would especially once I realized the honeycomb was body color and not black plastic. I have a MC Auto TRD Pro grill insert sitting in my garage and I'll be painting the honeycomb on it MGM. I'm hoping to swap it out without any tab breakage in case I want to switch back to the platinum grill.
