@2mchfun , I just got home, took one of the sensors out carefully, I wipe down the plastic sensor do I air hose the hole that the sensor go into. Just want to be sure before I do anything stupid. Or do I just wipe the sensor and put it back to place. Also I checked all the wire they all look good. Thanks

If you can see daylight in the hole then blow it out. If dark and sealed do not wash or blow it.

Damn, it lit up again. Coming home from bowling with my wife and she was pissed. I said wait till the obd2 arrives tomorrow and check it.
resetting it at the dealer didn’t work. It feels like they just unplugged the battery and it cleared it.

"When I would accelerate the rpm would shoot all the way up."

Did the rpm go up like in neutral or the transmission stuck in a lower gear?
trying to understand the impact of bad or dirty sensors on the rpm if any.

btw I've had those light come on only after I start the engine and was told it's due to bad/weak or discharged battery.

    When
I was driving the rpm went down and when the both lights popped up the rpm went up. Yes it sounded like the transmission was in lower gear.

Mine only comes up when I was driving,
When i got home, I turned the engine off. Waited for 5 minutes and the lights are still lit up. Maybe i should try disconnecting the battery.

did you replace the battery or just disconnected and put it back.

    I edited my post #43.
Meant to say after and not before.

After I start the engine the lights (bsm, abs, traction control and contact dealer msg) come on ...
I shut the engine off several minutes later to allow the battery to charge a little and restarted and the lights were off.

    Didn't check for any codes.
All my sensors are nice & clean with no damage. This happened with low mileage on the car and no off-road and no tire rotation, etc. Meaning the sensors should have not been damaged. Something intermittent ... iirc, I've seen it 4 times in the past 5 years.

Your case maybe different since the weak battery theory (if true) would not apply when driving unless you have other charging system issues.

    Do you have bsm?

Jack up each corner of the truck and push and pull on the tire and try to wiggle the rim. You may have a bearing going bad, kinda doubt it, but cost to check is $0. There should be very little movement.

You might have to figure out how to clean the tone rings. I have never done a Tundra so I cannot explain how. Maybe youtube. Pretty sure the rear tone rings are part of the bearings and cannot be cleaned. Shouldn't be dirty either though.

Just an update, First I just want to give a shout out to @2mchfun and @50Shades for all the advise.
So I ran the obd scanner I only got the 1249 code, stop light circuit. Before that I cleaned all the sensors and jacked my truck to see if my bearing were bad, and they were all good. And the traction light and abs was still on.
So I looked up that code and the dealers note regarding my aftermarket LED’s. I have all LED’s on brake , signal and reverse lights got them all from Headlight Revolution.
The first thing I changed was the brake lights and installed the OEM lights ( thank goodness I save them ). And then turned on my truck both lights were gone. WTF, I said no way. So I took it for a drive for like half and hour, freeway side street at different speed, then went back home, no lights. So I did the OBD again the code was still there and gave me an option to erase so I did, the first time it didn’t give me that option.
So hopefully this will work , if it happens again, I will change the other LED.
    Thanks again everyone.

How long were the led bulbs installed prior to problem? Maybe you just happened to hit the brakes and or turns at the precise time the abs system was self testing or just at a particular voltage due to some other factor (many possibilities) and that may have been just enough voltage fluctuation to trigger a fault. Even a slight amount of corrosion on a plug could cause such issues since the voltage would fluctuate. Modern times are sometimes a real PITA!

i got my truck in July 2017, probably three months after that. Probably it was the right timing. Looking at the led light they looked good to me. Yeah , all the technical stuff are pia.

Heck yea bro! Glad you solved your electrical gremlins! Was actually planning to convert my rears to LEDs but going with VLEDs instead.

Cool, I have the VLED footwell lights they make a big difference when you open the door at night. I might try using that if the lights doesn’t pop again.

Got an idea for you. If you really want your led lights, you could maybe make a wire harness for them to tap into the trailer light harness. I have my headache rack lights tapped into the trailer harness and for the last six months no problems have occurred. I'm thinking it would work for your situation because it is not voltage sensitive in order to allow for a broad spectrum of trailer differences. Then you could maybe zip tie the factory bulbs up inside the opening for the light housings so the system would function normally, but out of sight. If you do it, just be sure to place the bulbs in a way that heat won't cause any wire insulation or other plastc to melt. Just an idea for anyone that really wants led lighting with minimal problems.
