Has anyone seen any mods where I can add a rear window wiper blade? Using a squeegee on it before I go it's about all I can do. Do I just use Rain-X when it's raining because I can't think of any other way to keep water off of it

This is the most unique question I think I’ve ever seen on here.

    I mean theoretically you could.

Mount a wiper actuator module to the front of the bed, space it in tolerance, supply power and a switch. Not sure about speed variable settings (fast / slow)

Put something like Rain-X on it. I use the stuff from Griot’s garage. It helps keep the window cleaner as well

Rain x works perfect for me. I reapply each time it rains normally but it’s not necessary.

AquaPel works as good (if not better than RainEx) and lasts a lot, lot longer. Easily 5 to 10 times longer in my experience. Only get a month or two out of RainEx. AquaPel effects have lasted a year or two for me. Apply once on the side/rear windows and you’re golden for a year or two. I’m in the rainy PNW too.

FWIW: AquaPel effects work noticeably better when applied to a clean, dry windshield and with ambient temperatures in the range of 60-75 degrees. Too hot it’s hard to apply easily, too cold it doesn’t seem to work right (doesn’t bond as well maybe?). I’ve done both.

I thought I was the only one using Aquapel. I use it on all my cars and I can easily get 6 months or more on each application. My expensive wipers last much longer too. I agree with the application. You need to make sure you put it in and take it off quickly. Quality paper and microfiber towels are a must.
