Almost made me cry, I am a sucker for a story with a happy ending!

I hope what ever Toyota did to that particular truck they did to my 2016!

He must have a great service department. The last few dealer service departments I've used have been atrocious. I will never go to Toyota for repair again. Overpriced crappy work..

Only thing that would make it better, is if that Tundra had a 5.7, I'm not knocking the 5.7 at all... just saying the 4.7 guys have something in their corner now, when ever the debate about which engine is better cones up.

Ive found that the small town Yoda Dealers are WAY BETTER to use. Taking all my stuff one now after major issues with the Big City Dealer just a few miles away hosed me. Let my FJ go 15K miles before I caught them letting it go another 5K without an oil change.

Ive got a 94 LC that I bought brand new and the first thing that broke on it was the outside drivers side door handle at 220K miles. 225K on it now. Second thing that failed was the "O" ring at the windshield washer tank. Cost me a whole 30 cents to replace that. Everything else on it still WORKS>

That would make sense. No front drive axle to fail.

As much as I love my Yotas and with all of the good luck that I have had with them I am still a bit skeptical. Shit wears out. My driver seat in my Last Taco wore through on the edge next to the door in about 70k miles and it was leather. So did the leather covered shift knob. That driver seat in the Beast looked like it had only 30k miles on it.

Same here with my '07 Tundra before 60k. It was cloth though. That's when I pulled out all the cloth and put in leather.

I refuse the Toyota dealer in Hartford. I drive a ways away for the service at Hoffman Toyota.
