well broke down and went ahead and installed my fender flares ... I'm not 100% satisfied with how my wheels and tires sit flush with the flares so I placed an order for some Bora 1" spacers. Hope that's enough to just push them out enough to make me happy and not cause major rubbing issues.

Thanks Wes! Yeah, I'm thrilled that @16TRD found these flares on Craigslist. At $300 plus gas and mounting hardware I couldn't pass them up. Was on the bubble about how I liked them but they are growing on me more each day. Looking at my pics, makes me want to replace the NFab's with sliders, color match my bumper ends and I need to tint my front windows more. Lol ... Like you said, so much to do. I look forward to seeing what you come up with regarding wheels, tires, lift and tail lamps ... I'm sure she's gonna look incredible!

Hey Dave, I think the flares look good on your ride. Only problem is they make the bumper end caps look too shiny. :stirthepot: :D

I think your truck looks awesome!!

As for the nFabs vs sliders...I really like the look of those nFabs but IMO sliders are a step closer to the "I USE MY TRUCK" look.

    That ain't happening anytime soon!

Warren, I'm trying to figure out a solution for the end caps ... but won't happen until summer at earliest.

Don't think I didn't know that ... you guys and this forum are evil .

I know, right! My Tundra was not suppose to be a project. She was meant as a replacement to my Frontier as a family vehicle. I was suppose to buy a new weekend vehicle in the near future, but plans changed so instead of a new toy I decided to make the Tundra my toy.

Thanks Steve! My fan club fees have been paid ... if you don't see any proceeds, you can take it up with your board members.

Thanks Mark! As much as I'd like to change my bars over, the wife won't have it and losing the steps would be way to easy for my wife to notice .

So installed my front 1" Bora wheel spacers and what a difference that made. Looks far nicer than before with my flares. Downside is, now I'm rubbing the cab mount (so a chop is in my future) and the front liner again.

    Before ...

    And after ...

Tried installing the rear spacers and found that the lugs appear to be about 1/8 inches longer and my 1" spacers won't work since my Fuel Nutz wheels don't have any sort of cut out on the backside of the wheels. Either I cut my studs (I don't see that happening) or exchange my 1" for 1.25" spacers.

Why do I have a feeling I'm about to have my build thread jacked.

I might look into tinting my front windows alittle darker ... still thinking about the bumper ends. Leaving for a vacation in July so all of that will have to wait until I return.

I currently have 50% ... never had an issues with the Po Po with that so I went with it. Last year I got 35% for my wife and so far so good.
