    1) Leveling kit 2) Sound system upgrade 3) Color matched grill 4) Leather seat covers
Just got a new to me Tundra. Already came with some decent wheels and a couple other mods. But she’s way too low and the tires aren’t rugged enough for me. Also needs a better sound and interior needs improvement. So here I go.

So far all I’ve done is buy things. Super stoked to start the transformation.

    1. 3/1 leveling kit goes on Monday, 8/23
-Purchased from local Tucson AZ manufacturer.

    2. Clazzio leather seats ordered and arrived. Will try to install tomorrow 8/22
    -Black Leather with Red Stitching

    3. Sound system from 12TechVolts is en route, should arrive midweek and will be installed next weekend.
-Arc Audio 1100.5 5 Channel Amp
    -Arc Components in Front
    -Arc 6.2 Coaxials in Back
    - 2 Arc 10s in Ported Box
    4. Sound Deadener arrived today, will go in along with audio system.
Dynamat 36 sq feet, hope it’s enough for doors and back wall.

    5. Tires, ordered today 8/21, arrive Wednesday 8/25. Will be installed Thursday once I’m back from business trip.
    - Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70R18s

    6. Fuel Off Road Wheels, Sledge rims 18x9 +20mm offset already on from previous owner.
    - I also have the OEM set with some tires that have about 10K miles remaining. PM if interested.

    7. Bakflip MX4 Hardshell Folding Tonneau cover installed.

    8. Future - Exterior Chrome Delete, grill and bumper caps. Will order parts from either Tacovinyl.com or Paintedoemparts.com.
8/23- Ordered TRD Pro color matched Grille from local dealership.
8/23 - Ordered color matched bumper caps from Painted OEM Parts.

    9. Future - Interior Chrome Delete, need to look around this forum for inspiration.

Nice truck, for the chrome delete you can try AJT for the inside and I just went to desert toyota for paint matched grille, lower bumper, bumper caps, and the rest i grabbed from this forum you just have to be quick. Tons of great mods you'll find along the way and plenty of people willing to help. I had a whole team of people help me order my lift so I got exactly what I wanted. I'm also going with same system as you from 12techvolts.

Thanks or the tips. I’m down in Sierra Vista, will have to hit up local dealership and see if they can hook it up for me. I’ll be doing the install on the audio next weekend. Will take photos along the way and share them on here for whenever you’re ready for your install.

I'm not sure how, but when I log in online and order stuff I get a small discount. If you do order something send me the part number first to make sure you're getting it for the same price. For the audio install, did you get the precut door panel pieces or will you be cutting them yourself?

Thanks for that, I’ll take you up on that.

As for the sail panels, yes sir… it’s all included.

I really wanted to go with two JL subs, but supply and demand during COVID sucks.

Leveling kit went on today. Stance is so much improved and can’t wait for another added 1.7 inches from the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70R18’s that will get mounted this coming Thursday!

Clazzio seat covers are here…will install after audio is in or maybe alongside the audio since the seats will be removed.

PS- Thought I had ordered leather covers but box says otherwise, will have to go back and read the fine print.

Pro grille in cement color is here, dealership fumbled the order and didn’t send the hood bulge, so that won’t arrive until Monday. I’ll install the grille and sensor cover tonight.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70R18s on some Fuel Sledges with 20MM offset and a 3/1 leveling kit. A little bit of rubbing on full lock….will have to clean it up today.

I don’t care for those sledges, it’s only a matter of time before they’re gone. If anyone is interested, make an offer. Thinking of some bead locks…likely the Method NVs.

Yes sir, I’ll share some tips and also photos. Ran into some problems with the dealership not ordering correct parts. They had my VIN but didn’t order the hot bulge and they also ordered the wrong TRD PRO Grille. The one they sent me didn’t have the rectangular hole to insert the TSS sensor. They’re having a hard time finding the proper one so more to follow. Also, I was charged above what was stated over phone…my advice is to obtain an emailed or printed quote. I’ll share the part numbers once it’s all squared away, be sure to search other dealership prices so that they can price match.

Replaced the hood bulge and grille. Have the caps ready to install this weekend. East job taking off following YouTube videos. Taking off the sensor from old grill was probably the toughest part of the job but once you find where to press the plastic inserts to release them, smooth sailing. Other thing is that the sensor cover felt loose, I ended up putting some zip ties to the locking tab for peace of mind.

Caps are on. Pain in the butt, didn’t have to buy any extra hardware. Broke one of the plastic pieces that goes along with the plastic splash shield housing but made it work fine as is. Biggest obstacle was removal. Also tip for the parking sensor, remove the white flange that holds the sensor housing and it makes it easier to maneuver and finally get a decent hold on the clip to remove the sensor from the housing.
Next up are leather seat covers from Clazzio. Once weather warms up a bit more I’ll take advantage so that the covers can give more stretch and make install easier.

Build is coming along nicely. The wife had to take a respite from work so have to pause on goodie purchases but only a matter of time before I get rid of the Fuel rims I currently have on. I’m really contemplating some bronze colored rims…any recommendations?

you shouldn't have rubbing with that tire....have you heated up the front plastic and pushed in forward? i also did bumper shims on mine - the rubbing is no big deal but it sounded AWFUL. i wanted beadlocks but everything i read pretty much said they are a big pain in the rear. I went with Method 305. i got kind of a weak fake beadlockish look lol

had rubbing at full turn lock but easily fixed with a bit of ingenuity. Thanks!
