Re-weld rear cats after CEL?

I’m planning to take off my rear cats soon and installing some dynomax resonators but the only thing im worried about it is the CEL activating if I do. I know that the rear cats aren’t monitored by the O2 sensors but I’ve seen some guys on this forum say it turned on for them. So, incase I do get a CEL could I simply weld them back on to get rid of the CEL?
