Got my 2020 2800BH brand new for $31k in the Fall of 2019. It’s a rough market to buy anything now.

FWC's are the tits, especially in CO where it's super busy quite often you can go further than pull behinds and those sprinter van turds haha

I even ran into another FWC tundra owner outside Silverton this past week.

Last year we decided we needed a trailer, so after searching through limited early Covid inventory, we found our little 21ft camper.

First outing was a weekend trip to Oregon with the Tacoma, second outing was a week long Oregon trip with the Tundra. The tow with the Tundra was much more enjoyable.

And we totally got our “Glamp” on

The tandem axle is a double edged sword for the Tundra. Most trailer manufacturers won't put a tandem in without maximizing what they put on those axles, and if they need it you are pushing the weights on the tundra. I am with you in preferring tandem to single if for no other reason than the fact that a flat is potentially less damaging, but it's hard to find tandems that aren't pushing the tundra payload ratings.

My '21 VC 23 RSS is 4178# as built. That includes two LP tanks filled but no battery. Add the roof AC, power awning and a few other popular options brought it up to that weight. Payload is 1882#. Each tandem axle is rated for 2800# Add the 10% tongue weight and you get your 6060 gross weight.
I'm watching my wife load this thing up and remind her these things gain weight fast. I'm pretty sure 600# on my hitch would put us over on the trucks limit. First stop after leave here is the CAT scale. Second stop is going to be the dumpster.

I'm envious of you payload. So subtract the 600 hitch weight from the 1882 and you gave 1282 pounds of PL remaining. What else is in the truck that adds up to almost 1300 lbs? I must be missing something.

I think they meant the trailer payload.

I specifically wanted a single axle trailer under #4000. Two less tire/wheels to worry about. With all the shit on my truck I have very little payload to work with. This jayflight 174 Baja has been awesome. Sleeps 4 . About 3800 loaded. We were rolling 35-40 mph out in the desert last week. Tows great

Just picked this up a couple weeks ago, a 16x8’ camperized cargo trailer. Hauls the two quads, has a queen bed that lowers from the ceiling, awning, LED lighting, all well within the Tundra’s capability. I don't need or want running water or a TV when camping. Got to try it out a couple days ago.

That is a big *blank* right there....... Your rear tires look like they are about 2" from your fender wells on the bed.

I hope you don't have your WDH hooked up in that picture.

Went last week to Vermont to complete the purchase of our new 2022 imagine 21bhe.
They installed the hitch and completed paperwork.
Got it registered today and will be picking it up this weekend . We upgraded form an 18 footer camper.

We have a 2021 Outback 221UMD, and it's the reason we have a 5.7 liter Tundra. The truck is pulling the trailer almost every mile it rolls. Prior to this we had a 30' class A that was a moneypit. We couldn't be happier with the Outback. It's got all the room my wife, me, and the mutt need and is very comfortable. As a matter of fact, my wife and her 85-year-old mom are camping in it now while I babysit the mutt. :)

Plans are for an Alaska trip next year if we can still afford the fuel.
