I’m trying to install a set of Go Rhino RB-20 running boards on my 2109 Tundra Crew Max.

I’m working on the right side at the moment. I removed the 7 existing galvanized bolts and flat washers. I have loosely installed the four brackets using the 8 supplied black bolts and flat washers. When I set the running board in place the ends of the front and rear brackets stick out below the tapered ends of the running board.

    Is this right?

BTW - the two pictures were taken with the running board basically centered between the front of the front door and the rear of the rear door.

That does not look right… I have these running boards on my DC…. Been a few years since I installed them, so off the top of my head I can’t say what is wrong… at work right now so can’t look at mine either… sorry for not being able to help right out of the gate. Hope someone else provides an answer for you soon. Good luck!

You have them pushed in all the way. The running boards can be adjusted and pulled out more. Once you have it the way you want, tighten the bolts under the boards.

I just got it figured out. I had the running boards in too close to the truck and the brackets were still real loose. I got it now so it looks a lot better.

Yep, that’s what I had just figured out and completed. Thanks

Just just to confirm. When I’m done with the install am I supposed to have the 14 original galvanized bolts and flat washers left over?

That's what I had. I also used the bolts from the kit because they're longer and matched the color of the running boards.

Just finished. Took two hours to figure out, do, and redo the first side. Took 25 minutes to install the other side. Typical.

If it makes you feel better - I did the exact same thing last weekend. Even called my distributor to complain that they gave me DC boards. LOL. Ah well.
