Which Tekonsha prodigy p2 harness on 2013 Tundra

Hello,

First post. Long time Ford guy and jumped to the Tundra side last week. So far, so good! Glad to meet you all and hopefully I will be here a long time!

Looking to install my Tekonsha Prodigy p2 Brake controller that has been with me through the years. I see they offer 2 slightly different harnesses for my 2013 Tundra, a 3040-P and 3040-2. From pictures it looks like the 3040-p has a separate ground wire and the 3040-2 ground wire is in the harness. That is just my guess?

So anyone know why this is an option from Tekonsha? Or are some years including 2013 not grounded through the harness? I would like to just plug and play, so the 3040-2 is my first choice but will it work?
