So I think I can get my hands on some extra front & rear chrome bumper end caps for pretty cheap and I want to powder coat them.

Does anyone have a powder to OEM color match table or been down this road? My truck is MGM and I’ve heard “Cadillac Grey” is very close but wanted some input from the community. Here’s a pic for reference

Go to this website. If it exists, they’ll have it. It’s an awesome site. You can add samples (it’s a piece of aluminum that’s coated the color you request) to your shopping cart and add as many as you want. All you pay is shipping. They will overnight them to you the next day. I think my last order had 10-11 sample colors and it cost like $7. They rock.

There are numerous places that color match. They just need the paint code which I believe is on the driver side door jamb, I know Sherwin Williams around the corner from my house does it.

If all they need is the factory paint code here is a list of the factory colors -> https://www.tundras.com/threads/paint-code-list.52978/

Cadillac Grey is very close to MGM.

It’s close, but not identical. Prismatic sent me a whole mess of colors and they had one that was a little lighter and less metallic that I think would have been spot on.

I can definitely tell the difference but no one has mentioned it to me yet. Cadillac Gray attached

Man that's a pretty truck!! Based on the pictures it looks almost exact.

Searching on Prismatic's website the "Kingsport Grey" comes up with the Cadillac Grey. Do you remember if that was the "lighter less metallic" one you would have gone with?upload_2019-12-9_9-6-14.jpg

Thank you sir! Shoot I don’t remember, I called them and asked for recommendations since the Cadillac was slightly too dark.

I was going to say Prismatic Powders as well. I just had my ends done in Blue Ribbon Metallic. Came out near perfect

That looks awesome! I'm looking to have mine done in Midnight Black Metallic. Anyone find a PP swatch for that? I just ordered about 14 samples from them lol

So after 2 years of them being on, they have changed color pretty bad. There is not a uv protection in my color. Just make sure they have uv protection in the coating you are using.
