Doesn't really matter I got it on this past weekend with the newly provided hardware. If there's a claim and a discount great. But I never wrote this in an attempt to get free shit. I'll gladly pay for a product that works. If they give some kind of discount great but I'm not looking for a handout. Was mainly aggravated about not having much time and finally getting time to install only to have half the stuff missing. I will say RCI was super fast on shipping both times and maybe that's why things got jumbled or ripped who knows. I honestly thought it would be 2-3 weeks based on the disclaimer on their website about lead times and steel during covid.

One easy update for those installing with a 3/1 or leveling kit with diff drop is to carefully silicone or glue the spacers for the front diff drop on top of the 3 cylinder holes. Makes install much easier. Instead of trying to shimmy your hand through that tight space to run the bolt through they're already in place and you just screw straight through.

It would still be reeeaaallll cool if you could update your original post to say that RCI came through, and actually doesn't suck. Sure you updated the title, and put an updated post deep into the thread - but that first post is what people are going to read after clicking the link, and they may just gloss over the title and only read the beginning.

My Icon leaf springs were delivered on Friday by FedEx. Scratches included. Who to flame

FWIW Dobinson's showed up at my house with a label on the springs and zero cardboard. Nice to not spend an hour unpacking and dealing with an overflowing garbage can for a week.

 

Luckily I caught my garbage/recycling man yesterday but had it loaded in the truck ready for a dumpster run

 

Haha, obviously. The top package was split in two pieces. Got lucky that all the hardware was still there. icon was smart and tucked it in between the leaf springs and the extra replacement leaf

 

After install you can start a leaf springs suck thread. Damn things are just straight up heavy and awkward. Did I mention, Toyota also sucks balls for using crap springs to begin with.

 

Oddly enough I was complaining to myself in the garage as I unwrapped my new hefty RCI aluminum engine and tranny skids as they came wrapped in layers of plastic thick enough to serve as body armor.

Seriously though what do you think is going to happen to that piece of metal as your driving...it is going to get dinged the hell up. In your defense, if the condition of your skid plate is the greatest of our concerns, then life is great!
