Thanks, i really like these, they look comfortable and sturdy. I might order the pro series.

Something tells me i am about to have a small fortune in holsters sitting in the corner in a year...

Yeah, they’re kind of pricey compared to some kydex holsters, but they’re about the same quality and cost as as other high end leather holsters, like Milt Sparks for instance, but without the 6 to 8 month long wait. They’re really comfortable, too. I used to buy the cheap holsters until I took a class and learned they might not be the most optimal. You want to make sure they provide good retention (I test mine out by shaking them upside down over the bed), conceal well (some just stick out no matter what), be comparatively comfortable, completely cover the trigger and keep their shape. You shouldn’t have to point your muzzle inward to get it into the holster’s mouth (a problem I’ve had with a couple of the leather/kydex hybrid holsters).

On the other hand, my least expensive quality IWB kydex holster is another favorite of mine - Clinger Holsters:

    https://clingerholsters.com/product/gear-holster/

They offer a cushion that sticks onto the holster that makes it more comfortable, too. The cushion doesn’t make it stick out that much, either. Some folks also don’t like belt clips, and I can understand that as I’ve had issues with clips on one or two holsters. But I’ve never had a problem with the clip on my Clinger holster. It’s never come off my belts after hundreds of holster draw drills.

One thing, though, is that one person’s favorite holster invariably becomes another person’s least favorite holster. It’s all subjective and personal, depending on one’s body type, handgun model, size and weight, clothing, preferred mode of carry (appendix, cross-draw, strong-side, etc.). What works for one may not necessarily work for another. Eventually you’ll end up with a drawer full of holsters until you find one you like.

For IWB, I prefer my DeSantis Inside Heat.

Just an update, i ordered the Aliengear core carry pack, which is a modular system with 4 different configurations, and I gotta say its pretty amazing. Its really comfortable as IWB since it comes with a padded area, way better than a bare bones Kydex holster. It wasnt too expensive, paid under $150 for the core carry pack and an additional shell for my backup. I would highly recommend these, as others have in this thread. This will be my go to now. The quality is pretty awsome too and its mostly tool-less.
