I have ten in them now. I’m going to lower to six. I don’t see an issue with rubbing but I’ll keep an eye on it.
I haven’t had any issue as far as ride and my bags have been on there for over a year. It’s honestly been on of my favorite MODs. When I tow, I can’t even tell something is behind me. I love it. But, I put the cradles on because I was watching the guys at discount stretch the living shit out of them. Any time my truck gets lifted and they don’t support the axle it’s going to stretch the bags. I rarely off-road so that wasn’t really a consideration.
I’ll do some measuring tonight and let you know if my rear came up and I’ll let you know if dropping them 5 PSI helped.

I’m up 3/4 inches roughly in the back after cradle install. I now am raked at that measurement after being level.
I was running 10-11 psi and at the pressure I was up slightly over an inch. I’ve dropped down to 6 psi.

The reason for keeping the cradle is the same reason getting a 4x4. You don't need it until you get stuck or rip off the airbag off it's base. It's like a car insurance.

I just installed my daystar cradles today, the bottom bracket was slotted I had to move it untill I found the center of the bag but overall was easy.

    Hi All,

I just received my Firestone Airbags + Daystar cradle. Glad I found this thread , I noticed too how that bolt sits above the cradle.

But my question is different . After see all your photos my Firestone bottom support looks different. I noticed most everyone’s for the tundra has a different shaped bottom plate that sits on the springs . Mine is just flat , seems like a better base actually for the cradle but just wanted to see if anyone has seen this before I take my truck apart . Maybe Firestone upstated it ?
    Cheers Graham
