Hello to All, I have a 2003 Tundra SR5 that I am trying to replace the OEM radio in. The factory radio is a 86120-0C081. I have searched all over the internet for a wiring diagram without any luck. The harness connector in my truck is like the 20 pin Metra 71-8113. I purchased a Pioneer AVH-120BT unit to replace the OEM radio. Can someone please help me with a wiring pinout diagram? Thanks

UPDATE: I figured it out. The 20 pin connector was coming from the AMP behind the radio on the firewall. Thanks to YouTube I have sound.

I too have a 2003 Tundra SR5 and I'm replacing the same factory radio. I'm having difficulty finding an adapter for the wiring harness. Can you share how you wired yours? I've attached pictures of the wiring harness I need adapters for. Thanks!

OK, I finally figured it out. The wiring harness pictured on the left is coming directly from the amp and the one on the right is for steering wheel control. The harness I needed to deal with was the one plugged into the amp, not the one coming out of the amp. I removed the amp and unplugged it's inputs. Then ordered a Metra 70-1761 radio wiring harness, which I believe is the correct adapter. I'll follow up with the results when I receive the Metra harness.

Free to a good home (you pay shipping) Metra 70-1761 wiring kit. I just installed a Kenwood unit and they sent 2 of the wiring harnesses and trim kits. (I'd let the trim kit go too. it's for a Kenwood DDX376BT). I talked to the company and they said it would cost them more to get them back and for me to just keep them. Since I don't need it - hopefully someone in this group can use it. It's first come, first served.

i have a 2003 tundra limited, i am unable to find a pig-tail to install aftermarket radio, so since my factory radio was shot, i tore it apart, and am trying to make my own using the plugs from the back of factory radio. would you happen to have a diagram of what wires coming out of the dash go into which pins? i absolutly cannot find one anywhere. mine and yours are the same except for you have a white wire where i have a pink, between the purple and the 3 open spaces. riding the struggle bus here with no radio lol. thank you!03 yota wiring.jpg 03 yota wiring 2.jpg

MRSG88 - did you get this resolved? I have an adapter harness, Metra 70-1761 (see my post above). - someone contacted me a while back and I told him all he'd have to do is pay for shipping and I'd send it to him. He never got back to me - so the same offer for you - you pay shipping from Phoenix AZ, and I'll send it out. It is for my radio, which is a Kenwood - not sure if it would work for yours. Crutchfield is where I bought the radio and they have all sort of adapter kits. You really don't want, or need to, start splicing wires.
