Would the S1 be a good option for ditch lights? Main use will be on back roads and hunting camp roads.

    @Baja Designs.
I am currently trying to wire my LP9 Pros amber backlight to my 2019. DO you know where the wire connects to? I can not find an online schematic or instructions and I think the office is closed on a weekend for help via voice. Thanks.

The S1 is a super impressive light in most applications. I would definitely recommend it for ditch lighting.

I am linking the wiring diagram for the LP9 side of things, here: https://www.bajadesigns.com/images/LP9 LP6 Instructions.pdf

If you are looking for input for where to attach on the Tacoma side, it can vary greatly and I am usually hesitant to make specific suggestions since it is very specific to the vehicle. Lots of resources on this forum, but I can help steer you in the right direction if you need.

Edit: I just realized I answered the wrong question!

If you are putting these on A-Pillars for ditch lighting, I definitely recommend the Wide Cornering pattern, with the lights angled downward and out a bit, to avoid hood glare and give you better peripheral illumination.

Posted this elsewhere, but I figured this would be a much better thread for it.

Ordered a C4 Overland bumper with Squadron Pro fogs and the S8 light bar to replace my bumper and fog light that got destroyed by a deer.

I probably won't have it until mid October, but I have a question for those who know what they're doing with wires. What are my options for wiring up the S8? I also ordered the harness to go with it fyi. Am I going to need to install a switch for it? Can it be wired up to my fog light switch since I'm not likely to ever have one on and not the other?

Help a guy with only the most basic electrical knowledge be prepared.

If you run the fogs on road you won't want the S8 on, it's to bright. Does your S8 have backlight? Most Baja Designs wiring harness come with a switch. I'm running 3 sets of BD lights and they're controlled by a Switch Pros. The switch panel is nice and great if you want to add more lights. I got all of it from SDHQ. Here is a picture of the switch panel.20210313_134820.jpg

I won't be running the fogs with oncoming traffic. I love kind of out in the middle of nowhere and drive to work in the dark, so I'll be using the fogs and the S8 on the road and just cutting them off if a car comes. I've seen a lot of people on here run Switch Pros. How is the install?

Installation is very simple, the controller mounts in the engine bay. SDHQ sells a mount that you just bolt on. Then run a small wire loom inside the cab to the switch and you are done.

Would you mind linking me exactly what it is I'd need from their site? Also, how do you go about placing the switchboard where you have it? Do you have to cut out the little tray that's there? Drill a hole for the wire to pass through?

They have a adapter that fits perfectly and you have to drill a small hole for the wires. I'll send a link when I figure out how to.

Anyone have pics of the connectors and wire setup for Squadron SAE’s on a 2008 Tundra? Have them mounted on my new bumper and can’t seem to figure out what I’m messing up on the wiring, as the connector that goes in between the OEM harness and the Squadron cable don’t seem to match.

Thank you @BajaDesigns for your outstanding customer service. Hunter was the individual who contacted me about an issue I had with a brand new set of SAE fog lights. I'm preparing for a unfortunate trip (funeral), I noticed that one of the lights was not as focused as the other. I removed the lenses and found one of them was missing an internal lens. Do to the fact the family member is in hospice care I have no way of knowing when I will have to leave. Sending the light in for warranty was something I really wanted to avoid. I sent photos of the lights to Hunter and he sent a lens to me under warranty. FedEx reported that they delivered the package but it didn't arrive. I filed a claim with FedEx and contacted Hunter again and asked if I could purchase the lens due to possibly not having the time for FedEx to correct their mistake. Hunter shiped out another lens and emailed me an invoice that showed no charge. I was extremely impressed by Hunters customer service. Sorry that this is so long but I just wanted to spread the word about a fantastic experience.

I was thinking the same when the blue went to black. The white/black wire on Toyota is the GND wire if I am not mistaken

I am trying to get my XL80’s tucked in the sides of my nFab M-RDS Prerunner number and that is a very tight fit especially when I now see the mounting tabs they show on the web site are not on my number. I will never buy another one of their bumpers.

Can you rotate the light in any angle as long as the lens is on properly? That looks like my only hope of getting it back there. I may end up replacing the bumper that continues to fail me

Who has amber XL lenses in stock right now? Looking to buy and everywhere I look is showing a 4-5 week lead time. Or if anyone wants to switch out my clear spot lenses for their ambers.
