What @memario1214 said or if you’re like me you could have 2 pairs of fog lights in case you might need them lol.

Or with a bit of fabrication and cussing you can maintain the Pro bezels with the DD fogs using their SS3 Universal Bracket kit and a bit of bracketry that you'll have to fabricate like found in the following thread. It's a tight fit and you wont be able to use the brackets listed in the thread because they are installing the Rigid fogs. But you might find what you need to do similar at your local hardware store.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-rigid-trd-pro-fog-lights-brackets.37902/

Tip: I mounted from the top vs. from the bottom as they did in the Rigid thread. This is due to the geometry of the SS3 brackets vs. the Rigid.

They will sit outside of the Pro bezels slightly, but I think you wind up with better light throw to the sides that might be blocked some by the stock round bezels.

Installed the SS3 pros, very impressed with the quality and light output. FYI when I went to remove the fender liner a couple of bolts were seized so I just popped the bezels out from the front switched lights and snapped back in, took about 10 minutes. I tried to aim them as far down as I could in the housing and the alignment worked out perfect, then I zip tied them in place

I installed a pair of Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro yellow fog lamps in my 2010 CM Platinum a couple weeks ago and finally took a snap of the lights on the road. Nice side to side lighting with a crisp horizontal cut-off. I adjusted the fog lights to the lowest possible angle. A few days later I did the EddieV1 fog lamp wiring modification. Worked as advertised. I called Colton @memario1214 at Hotshot Offroad and he took good care of my order. Colton is a good guy to do business with and is highly recommended. And a BIG thanks to all the members of this forum who share their talent and experience. There's plenty of good information here.

You can jump out a couple wires and such and it allows the fogs to stay on with your marker lights and brights.

interesting. so you can turn the fogs off and on, while the parking lights and high beams are on?

I did this one, which was just using some jumper wires in the fuse box. basically, fogs are always on (can't turn it off or on with the stalk) when the parking/low/high beams are on:

Anyone have the behind-the-grille Diode Dynamics light bars? I have their amber fog pattern light bars and was wondering which of their SS3 fog lights would be a good pairing. I also have the OEM LED headlights. I’m thinking the white spot/driving pattern would be good since I already have a good wide fog pattern in amber so a light to reach out a little further directly in front would be the icing on the cake.

Are the Max lights worth it over the Pros?

Pro vs Max. Notice the intensity of light on the fence with the max.

Hello there! So @Danman34 gave you some nice comparison shots there! The Max definitely has a tighter beam and less uplight/diffusion which is nice. Is it WORTH it? That's up to you. If you go Max you'll never be left wondering "what if", but if you go pro you still won't be disappointed in the output. They're great.

As for what to do with pattern here is what I would do if I were you:
    • Make your selection on fog lights (pro vs max and color) and go with just that. An SAE Fog pattern fog light mounted in your stock fog light location. When properly aimed you will be legally able to run them on the street if you so desire.
    • Make a small swap on your light bars that are in the grille. I recommend swapping the lenses over to a driving pattern. I would recommend white, but if you want yellow that's okay too. A lens swap is pretty inexpensive on the Stage Series light bars with the lenses being $3 apiece + some shipping.

Shameless plug I carry all of these goodies too :)

I have the Pros on my 2014 in no different of configuration from the OEM setup...my inquiry is, with no wires crisscrossed, modified, or changed from OEM, when I engage my fogs, my radio begins to squelch a lot and immediately stops once I toggle the fogs off...ground deal or...? Any suggestions?

Almost always a ground issue when someone mentions similar issues. Try this first. Try swapping the adapter harnesses from left to right and let me know what happens. We'll troubleshoot from there.

I assumed that's the first test...I just noticed it this morning headed to work and have run them every week headed to work this whole last year...not sure what could've changed but I'll try it out..I need to secure the darn lights a bit better anyway with some super-hero zipties...I will share my findings this coming weekend...Thanks Colton!
