Hey guys... I know this topic has been discussed quite a bit and I've done a bunch of reading about them... but I'm agonizing over this decision. Looking at options for hard tonneau cover for my 2016 Platinum Crewmax. Pretty much was narrowed down to Extang Solid Fold 2.0, Rugged Premium Hard Fold, and Bakflip MX4 and Revolver X2. But now I've been looking at the RollBAK G2...which I love the look of. I need something durable and strong, waterproof (or as close as possible), easy to fold or retract and easy to REMOVE when I want to load my wheeler...and, of course, good looks! I seem to gravitate toward the ones with the sleekest, lowest profile. I'm open to all advice on the models I've mentioned and others I may have overlooked. Thanks, as always!

SuperSilver may be able to get you a crazy good deal on the BAK mx4. I got one from him last month. Love it.

I have the BAK revolver x2 didn't want a cover that blocks my rear window when I'm hauling stuff. The revolver rolls up top not in a canister takes up maybe 7-8" in the front of bed. I love it easy on and off

I love my bak revolver x2. I have 2 friends that have put them on multiple trucks. It's very low profile, easy to install and use. I highly recommend it. Check out autoanything . Com
Open a chat window and you can actually negotiate a better price, I think I was able to get almost $200 off doing that.

Thanks... my only issue with the revolver is the vinyl... I am worried about how it will hold up and look over time. I just feel like I'll be able to keep a hard finish looking good longer...

I can't speak for the longevity of this cover. I've had older and cheaper covers that held up great, I treat them with aerospace 303 a few times per year. My buddies is probably 2 years old and it looks great. But I get what you're saying.

I've gotta get some 303...apparently that's the answer for anything like this...

A little of this and a little of that.
I too have the Revolver X2 cover on my truck and it's fantastic. You wouldn't have to remove it for your 4-wheeler either. A little 303 after each wash and it'll last for years to come. I think it's about as low profile as you can get, and waterproof? No problem. I can shoot it with a pressure washer around the seems and it hardly leaks at all. Maybe a few drops. Good luck with your decision.

The Extang solid fold 2.0 is extremely easy to put on/take off. One minute job. Not waterproof though, a few drops. I don't think any of the fold ones are waterproof. Definitely resistant.
