Ok 2015 cm trd pro here. What's the difference between the 7200 lbs and the 10k towing capacity? I am assuming the only difference is the hitch. Class 3 vs Class 5? Anyone have any info?

Reason I am asking I have a 28 ft enclosed at about 8000 to 8500 lbs.

yep bank account is running low from it..
8000 to 8500 pounds is a class 5 hitch.. can the tundra do it yes. I would make a piece of advice here. With that much weight make sure you have a bigger transmission cooler than factory.

Sorry about that I dont know how I miss your post. Strange.

Im going to assume the 7200 is for class 3 and 10k is for class 5 weights.

I thought Class 4 hitch is rated up to 10,000 lbs.

You rather over rate the hitch then under rated it and stress it out.

Edit.. I have not seen a class 4 hitch in years.
