Can you use a 2018 Platinum Grill on a 2016 SR5? Craigslist link included

Hi! Good deal on this grill. I’m going to try and buy myself - but I can’t confirm fitment so far.

Any suggestions on how to confirm if this grill from a 2018 platinum will fit my 2016 SR5?

it fits your 2016, you can change the grilles among the different trims.

 

It will fit but what are you using for the Toyota emblem? They changed the mounting of the emblem in 2020 and you'll need the newer 90975-02159 emblem to fit the one in the pic. The Land Cruiser emblem won't fit these new grilles

 

As mentioned in the post above, the grill will fit, but after you buy the new Toyota emblem you are almost at $250 which is close to either buying a new color matched grill for the 2014-2017 or just waiting for a better deal to come up with the color you want and the emblem included with the grill.
