Has anyone installed construction (utility) lights on a tundra. I am using my truck as a work truck now for a communications utility company. I am hoping to keep the lights low key when not in use as I use this vehicle for personal use as well.
I have looked at our new company truck’s construction lights setups and was not impressed. Im sure it’s fine for an F150/250/350 as the lights wiring probably helps hold the trucks together.

Which truck are you doing this to?
Maybe you could look into a programmable flasher relay or something and just use the stock lights?

I’ve used these before on non-Tundra work trucks, they are awesome. Small, not fugly, and very bright with different flash patterns available. Not sure if 2 front and 2 rear would meet your requirements, or if you are required to have a roof beacon as well.

I’d put the fronts in the grille, and the rears in the gap below the tailgate.

Do some searches, there a few plug and play adapters for the light system on these trucks. Control the headlights, flashers, etc.

my best suggestion is the Hide away style if you want it to be 100% stealth down side is drilling your light housings , an adding some high end components where you see fit also get a OEM push button for one of the slots , keep those god awful toggle switches away. also CH4x4 switches fit in most of the smaller blank spots get a push On/ push Off switch of you choice to control the on off of these bad boys and didn't see them off the momentary in custom laser but write them and ask custom laser image momentary switch so you can control the strobe pattern's the two custom switches will run $30 apc and this kit sits around $100 so $160 and you will have a sweet clean set up. this is what I was going to go with but my Strobes are a back burner cost for me.
    Strobes.jpg
this is the hide away set up just install box under the hood and nice safe spot drill the backs of the light housings in the amber locations , I can't remember if the Tundra stock rear light housing has a amber lenses if not then in the rear install in reverse lights stop (rear strobes will be white)
    strobes2.jpg
modify these control pig tails to a couple of relays an ditch that ugly box for
    Strobes switch.jpg
for 1 of theses push on offs this will replace the toggle
    custom switch.jpg
then ask CH4x4 to Custom Etch a Momentary switch for you (currently this option is on under push switch's but I don't see why not) this will replace the red round button and allow you change strobe patterns to your liking.

if your interested in going this route let me know I can draw up both visual and schematic wiring Diagram for you.
also do you already have a aftermarket accessory fuse/relay box?

should be able to sort you out with a clean set up a room to grow and no terrible wiring. ;)

also a side note going on what cock-a-doodle-do said about magnetic light bar I know they make some that are rechargeable battery powered and Blue Tooth remote controlled.
so I guess also what is budget for these strobe suggestions?
and do you have any desires for say other lights or accessories know those things could help in building a badass strobe setup. :)

I just came across this thread and figured I'd add my setup, even if the last post is over a year old.

I work in roadway construction and am required to have 360 strobe visibility.

I have 6 lights mounted. They are all Hella MST6 low profile mounts. They come with 3M tape to attach or 2 bolt holes. I have mine bolted but I've talked to people who have used the 3M tape for years with no issues. These lights run about $50 each but you get what you pay for. These lights are visible from over a mile away in the daytime and much further at night. Yes you can buy cheaper ones but good luck being seen if it's not pitch black out. I also advise against "wig-wag" setups that flash your existing headlights/taillights. Not bright enough. Go for the brand name on this.

    https://www.amazon.com/HELLA-H22895...01N0T4G25?keywords=mst6&qid=1673122737&sr=8-1

I have 2 mounted in the front grille, 2 in the back on either side of the license plate, and 2 on the pinch welds under the rear doors. They are all wired up and synced through a relay with a custom "strobe" button from AirOnBoard. It is a pet peeve of mine when people install strobes and never connect the sync wire; with all the lights flashing their own patterns. It looks so much more professional when they all blink in sync with each other.

Another more straightforward option is a roof-mounted (magnet) 360 beacon. I've used this one with good results (https://www.fedsig.com/product/highlighter-led-pro). Again, it is a matter of getting what you pay for, others in my company have cheap lights and they are pretty much worthless.
