Nice looking rig pal. What kind of winch did you got? I just also ordered SSO bumper. Can’t wait to install. I also have same spad switch system and I have hard time to make Bluetooth connection, how was yours?

You will really like the SSO bumper, great quality, looks really clean. I have the Smittybilt X2O 10,000lb winch with synthetic line. It fits nicely in the bumper. You do have to relocate the winch power supply off to the side, but it is easily accessible if your wireless remote fails.
I have yet to try the Bluetooth connection with the sPOD...seems like a cool idea, but don't really see the point, for me, yet.

The bolts are from METHOD. Click on Accessories on their website...$24 per wheel, but well worth it!!! It took me about an hour to change them all over!

Just ordered the JBL sub replacement box from James @tech12volts! Very excited for the install and upgrade to the sound system. I went back and forth on going crazy with the system, or just do a subtle upgrade and see how it sounds. I think I will be happy going this route. Stay tuned!

Just ordered the C4 Overland bumper! Lead time is 8-10 weeks, so if anyone wants my SSO winch bumper shoot me a message. I’ll be selling it with the light bar...winch not included. Retail is $1400 to your door...I’ll sell for $700!

C4 bumper installed!!! Ordered in bare metal, had it powder coated at a local shop in a satin black mini grit, came out perfect.
Now just waiting on the Expedition One rear bumper…could be October!

Before you got rid of the OEM rims. How close were the Falkens to the Upper control arm? Im looking to do a lift and tire upgrade on my AG pro as well, and thats my only real concern at this point. I wish BFG had a 285/75/18 option as i would pull the trigger on that over the Falkens.

295/70 will fit with the lift. They are ridiculously close to the upper control arm, but never had an issue. I did the 1.25” spacer to push them out…but I’m not a fan of that…so I went to after market wheels. As far as a tire…I like the Falken better than the BFG…I will be putting them back on my truck sooner than later.

Did the bumper and winch lower your front end at all?

Do you notice any difference in handling with the new bumper/winch combo? Is there more body roll in turns or do you notice you hit the bump stops more easily when the front suspension cycles? Looks great and functional.

I do not notice any difference in daily driving. I don’t have any camping/trail trips planned until end of October, so no harsh driving with it on yet…but don’t foresee any issues. I’m happy with the bumper…fit and finish is really clean, and it’s not an “in your face” look.

You know....I wanted a winch bumper for a while & a couple years ago or so saw your post w/ the SSO bumper. I was eventually sold on it & picked one up black friday 2019. Installed last summer. (we all waited a while for those SSO BF sales to be delivered.) Never really liked how it turned out - cause I had to shim it (running 37s) & it stuck out too far & just didn't fit right. Plus I had to cut out the OEM bumper bolts cause I needed longer ones for shimming....never was very comfortable with that.

Finally decided this summer I'm gonna go with something else...and I happened across your build thread again a couple weeks ago & saw the C4 for first time. Found the main C4 thread & am sold again. lol It's a real good looking bumper. Plus I can spot-weld OEM bolts back on. Yours turned out great. I think I remember you had to shim the SSO, too, & cut out OEM bolts right? Did you keep your aftermarket bolts or did you go back to OEM? Just curious.

Uhhh! I remember our SSO frustrations from back in the day! Lol.
Yeah, I thought the SSO looked really nice, a factory look winch bumper. But at the end of the day, just not aggressive enough for me. I wanted simple and strong, C4 fits the bill perfectly!
Now, I never replaced my factory stud bolts. I did have to remove my Coachbuilder shims in order for the SSO to fit properly. I run 35’s, so I just had to heat gun and mold the inner fender well. A little plastic trimming and a bmc and I had no rubbing.
You’ll be super pumped with the C4…makes the truck look like a beast! You can’t believe how big the factory bumper actually is!

Oh yeah, factory bumper hangs low & wide. C4 is one of the best aftermarkets I’ve seen. Prob gonna wait till Black Friday to see if they have a sale. Hopefully it won’t be another 6 month wait. o_O

We’re you able to sell your SSO? I’m thinking it’ll prob take a while to offload it. We’ll see.

It took about 5 months to get the C4! Sucks to wait…but I’m glad I did.
I actually sold the SSO to a guy on this forum immediately! Super nice and patient…because he waited about 4 months until my bumper came in! Just do yourself a favor and do local pickup only…UPS is a nightmare…I am still fighting them over ridiculous charges!

Uye. Yeah I bet it's a nightmare. Seems to take a while to sell local here in N. VA, but yeah that'll be my first attempt. 5 months lol. Looks like I might have it installed by next summer then. :)
