Check the classifieds. I see steps / boards in there all the time.
Some are brand new for dirt cheap.

There the steps I had in my 2020 4Runner pro. Loved them. What did you do to cover the stars?

Are they Tyger steps? Did they change the step style. A lot of guys did not like the stars where you stepped on. Can you post a pic closer of the step. Thanks.

Did your Tundra come the hood scoop from the factory or is that after market?

I went with the Go Rhino RB20. I've had them on since 2018 and zero issues with them. If I end up buying the new tundra, I will definitely get more from this brand.

if you are not set on actually running boards, then I would recommend looking at the N-Fab Predator steps that come factory on my most 2.5 Gen Tundras because the quality is actually really good if you don't use it for off-road. They are aluminum and I have seen people selling them from $150-$250.

I have a question for those who have these or any other aluminum side steps. I was always under the impression that aluminum and steel can't be secured to each other without corrosion occurring. Maybe I'm way off... Anyone have more knowledge about this? Anyone have aluminum boards on their truck for a couple of years? Any damage?

Do your self a favor and DO NOT BUY N-Fabs.
My truck is a 2019, I just turned on to 14K miles.
Never been off road or abused in any way.
Never driven in snow or salted roads(I use my old beater for that in the winter)
These came on my truck from the dealership.
But there is no explainable reason why they are chipping the paint on both driver and passenger side bars.
they are the most pathetic thing on my truck.
This is just a small part of the chipping

I currently have the N-Fab steel steps like have on my current Tundra, and noticed the finish on it chips easily. However, the N-Fab Predator aluminum steps seems to be either a better finishing or it just bonded better because there was no chipping when I had them on my previous Tundra.

I have rough country running boards. I bought for around $400 after tax. I can sell you for $200.

For those with the RB20, I have a couple questions. I keep seeing mixed prices on most websites that sell them. What is a good price on them? Has anyone seen any sales?

I’m on the fence between the ones with the textured black or the powder coated. We have snow here and they treat the roads with salt and brine. Is the powder coating on both sides or just the step side?

I plan on getting line-x in the spring and was just gonna ask them to spray the steps before I put them on. Go idea/bad idea?

Another vote for the iBoards. I don't think you can beat them for the money. $250 give or take and includes everything (hardware also). I got the 4" that are straight at the ends and have a bit of gap to the body. Sorry, no pics of my own but below is from the iBoard site. I chose this style as I didn't want stuff to get stuck and accumulate between the body and the boards. 2 years now and still look fantastic. My only gripe is that they were a bit finicky to get just right when installing but not terrible.
