Ok. I really did not like how the black chrome did not turn out. Operator error, all the way. With that being said, I decided to do the front with a bed liner type spray on. I used the rustoleum peel coat, rugged coat. So far so good. 4 light coats provided excellent coverage, and then a fifth spot press to fill in and it is now drying. The texture is not quite aggressive as a full on bed liner. I went with the peel coat so that if I messed it up real bad again, I could peel a d retry it. If I end up liking the look, I may just do it in an actual bed liner for the extra durability later on. This stuff says to peel off within 6 mo the for best results. We shall see.

I like it dawg! I was just thinking today that Toyota should offer matte color options, if that’s possible.
