    Hey all,

First time poster here. Proud new owner of a cement grey trd pro!

I've read a few posts here in regards to the best method of leveling but I am reading mixed results so I wanted to start a thread on it.

I would like to do a mild 2" leveling kit and replace the factory street tires with some taller BFG All Terrains. What kit/method is the safest/best method that retains the TRD Pro equipment and does not mess up in geometry/angles? I have seen a lot of folks recommending the Coachbuilder method and I have found the Readylift option here too: https://www.readylift.com/2-sst-lift-kit-toyota-trd-pro-plus-2-2015-2018.html

Also, with whatever 2" approach is best - what's the biggest tire size to go with without rubbing or needing any trimming?

    Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome! Congrats on your Pro. Cement is one of my favorite colors. Your can fit 295/70r18 on the stock Pro without any additional lift. If you want additional lift and retain factory suspension then Coachbuilder or Wescott Designs are probably your best/most popular options. You can squeeze 35’s with these additional lifts, but may have to do minor trimming and wheels spacers to clear the UCA (depending on the tire brand). 295/70R18 is probably still the safest option though. Use the search. Theres tons of info about both of these options on here. Also- post some pics of your truck!

Heres my Pro, stock height with 295’s. And also with same tires but with Coachbuilder shims and +2 shackles.

Westcott designs 35/12.5/18 no trimming and no spacers. Quarter inch away from upper control arm. I love the new ride.

Nice! I forgot to mention that my truck is a 2017 so it doesn't look like Westcott offers products for my year. I guess I'll be going with the Coachbuilder method.
