Ive been interested in doing this, its just not cost effective for me to order the parts. Was thinking about Plasti dipping them? Not sure it would hold up to the Vegas heat.
    Found this video https://youtu.be/Of2K-J0leMc
for the disassembly have to pay extra close attention to the 1:33 mark :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Ok did you get the vinyl to curve in to the shifter area and cup holder area or did you trim it right at the edge.
Reason why i ask is i have tried to do detail like that going into an area and there is always extra material that cant sit flush. Even heated and stretched. Maybe im doing something wrong but thinking about it its extra material when going that direction so stretching is wrong. It needs to shrink.

I did leave some extra to overlap underneath to stick together both sides around those curve area as over time they wont pulled and lifted on the top ,also this way they will stick to each other and last for good long time . As for the curve and sharp corners you might want to use low heat to work them in until the wrap fully set in with the contour of the parts then use high heat and your finger rub it in gently so the glue will stick better .
Took me 3 times to get a perfect fit ,so be patience and some practice you'll like the result !

Done! What a pain in the ass. Took a lot longer then I expected. The passenger side was the worst. Removing the trim below the glove box took me a while to figure out.

Thank you sir! Glade it's done. Like I said the worst part was figuring out the panel/trim under the glove box. The trim with the vents on the driver/passenger side was way to easy.
I almost forgot how everything went back together. Lol.

Lol I know that feeling. I really like the non chrome air vents. We're this easy to remove?

Edit: nevermind. Lol. I see the entire install process now.

The two side vents attached to the outer trim pieces were really easy. All you need is decent trim removal tool. Those are the first to come off in the initial tear down.

    Not enough space here...
is there a difference in that center panel 2wd vs 4wd? does the center panel come with the 2 vents already?
