So I bought a little Kärcher electric power washer for light duty stuff and cleaning maple equipment. It came with a little "foam gun" it does not work so well. Yes it spreads some suds on the truck but not a snow blanket. I tried it last week and still had to go back and do a full bucket and mitt wash. Are there actually some foam cannons that are spray on spray off? If so what do you recommend. I can use it with or without the power washer. Just looking for something that works. @WarEagleSteve
    Thanks

i picked up a cheap $15 one on ebay... I use regular car soap watered down a LOT... took me a while to get the right mix ratio but now, i could have a neighborhood foam party.

Mrs G wouldn't be so happy though - even with all her year's supply of maple syrup

I guess I should add my power washer is 1600psi but only 1.25 gpm that may make a difference

I have the chemical guys foam cannon. I really like it. Once I use this bottle of soap im going to try some different types from them. Check them out on YouTube. They have well over 500 videos about detailing cars and plenty of using their cannon. My power washer is 2000 psi 1.2gpm. You'll still have to actually wash it unless it's dang near clean already. Foam cannon is just a good pre-wash to loosen dirt up.

Okay, let's try again. These are the pieces to my power washer and foam cannon. The foam cannon won't fit on any of the pieces. Is there an adapter I need to get?

It looks like he has a universal quick connect fitting on his pressure washer. What brand washer do you have Joon?

You're going to need some kind of adapter. Maybe post some pics of where the extension attaches to the handle. Someone may know where to get am adapter

Here's a close up of the piece that goes inside the gun. Looks more like a gun specific piece rather than a standard adapter piece.

I can run out to the garage and see if my Kärcher has the same fitting. I know they sell those adapters

Looks really close. I think I'll take both pieces to HD and see if I can find an adapter. Thanks Pudge.

Yeah its similar. I believe it's called a bayonet adapter. Of course there are a few different styles and sizes. I hope you find something

    Try this adaptor..
Apache 99023752-C Female Pipe Thread Pressure Washer Bayonet Wand Connection Adapter Set (5 pack)

Search this on Amazon. I had the same issue and needed an adaptor. Did some research and this is what people used for smaller/electric pressure washers. I bought one from Harbor Freight and it works okay with the foam canon i bought. I'm sure if I got a larger gas power / lawnmower engine pressure washer it would work just like the Chemical guys youtube vids. Anyway, I think the middle adapter in the picture when you look it up is the one you're looking for. Hope this helps.

It was just how the washer came. I bought the pressure washer with the intent to use the foam cannon so I just made sure I had a universal quick disconnect on the end.

love my MTM cannon....I USe an ARBlue electric PW with it, doesn't produce the true snow foam you see the videos getting, but it works. I do think i'm going to upgrade to a more powerful and gas PW.

Water softness varies by time of year. TDS Use to be 400+ but with the non stop rain we've had out here last year it's now about 125-175 (I've got a bunch of fish tanks so I watch this shit closey)

I use about 2 ounces of soap and usually have the dial in the middle; I've messed around with the combo and settings a bunch. I also use hot water which helps out.

It produces foam, just not that fancy snow shit I see in videos. I want that.
