So I've seen a lot of the new promo stuff but I think I missed it - do they not have DC or ac power in the bed in the new models? I see there's a small inside inverter option but has anyone seen good stills or can timestamp photos of rear power?

    Stock for now
Yes they do. Just like they have had in the Tacoma's (400W). What they are not offering is the Generator level output that the Ford Powerboost offers.

Where in the bed specifically do you see the outlets?

Thanks! I see the 400w outlet there on the back passenger side now. Do you see a 12v?

Hoped that it would be more. The Sienna hybrid has two 1500w outlets - one in rear, one in center console.

I was really hoping for a generator setup like Ford used, the 400 watt outlet is only useful for smaller tools or chargers

This. I hope there is an upgrade or maybe they increase it before production.

I've resigned myself to realizing if I want in-bed power options, I'll need to install it myself. Which I did on my current truck.

I was watching a review of a optioned-out SR5 TRD Sport, front camera, 14" infotainment, heated seats, but no bed power at all.

That's ok, I can do it better than Toyota anyway, pfft only 400 watts and the truck needs to be running? Amateurs!

I hope they delete it and put that money in better tires like toyo at3s. I've never plugged anything into my truck and dont need to start now

    I wouldn't be happy with a 400w compressor.

I usually use 120VAC in my current truck for mattress inflator, running a DVD player (old school!) or running my smoker at a campsite.
Personally, I only use 120VAC when I don't have a direct DC adapter available, and I haven't needed more than 400w.
I just use my truck for camping and other recreational activities, so 400w is enough for me, but requiring the engine to be running to even turn it on is not desirable. My current setup will provide 120VAC without the truck being "ON" and if the 12v battery starts to droop an alarm will sound and the inverter will go to standby. I can then use remote start to start my truck and resume 120VAC.
If I needed to do construction work out of my truck, I would absolutely at least want a system like Ford's 2.4kW option.

I use a small compressor with the 400w in my LC. It's slow, but better than a 12v one.

Just wire a 3500w inverter in a tool box or some other type of enclosure.
